My wife and I found Life Alive on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. She had a salad and I a wrap- both were delicious! We look for vegan restaurants or those that serve vegan and were delighted to find this gem in downtown Lowell. We'll be back. Oh, yes- I heard the bathroom is worth visiting!

I was absolutely delighted to be acquainted with Life Alive while passing through the unassuming city of Lowell on a day trip from Boston. I've been to a few cafes in the past that attempt the bohemian / vegetarian / love your life theme but this one takes the [vegan] cake over them all. Upon walking in, you quickly become... More

I've eaten here several times. It will appeal mostly to vegetarians and the health conscious. There are few restaurants like this in Massachusetts. The cuisine, decor and people there make me feel like I've stepped back to New Mexico for a moment when I go there.

We have been to the Life Alive in Cambridge, MA and that's why decided to try the one in Lowell since its a little closer to home. The downtown Lowell area around the restaurant is pretty with historic New England vibe, cobblestoned streets & red brick old mill type buildings. With the restaurant itself, What a wonderful experience I must... More

If I was reviewing this place on food alone, it would get an excellent. Unfortunately, I have to dock the place a few stars for the the lack of seating and the ordering/food delivery system. One person in our party of four didn't receive their order (a pb & j!!!) because it came from the juice station, which was backed... More

I have been living in Lowell for a few months now and this place is my regular haunt. So far I have had the Innocent, Adventurer, Swarmi and Goddess and have loved every one. The swami or adventurer are probably my favourites and I am intent on working my way down the menu. Tonight I tried one of their smoothies... More

My first visit to Life Alive. I had the Alchemist bowl and plan to work my way down the menu. I sampled dining companions' dishes and all were equally fresh and delicious. The Carrot Cake smoothie makes a great dessert. Love the "green theme." Don't hog the bathroom looking at all the cool stuff.

I like their atmosphere and staff. The food is fresh and tasty. But if you're not vegan, the choices are limited.

I love the Goddess bowls here. Very delicious. Good portion size. I also like to get my Appreciation Card stamped so I get a free meal after 12 meals purchased. It can be difficult to find parking, so I try to come at an "off" time to increase my chances.
