This is the ultimate home quaint cuisine. We decided to try this restaurant by chance, the weather was awful and we had no umbrella. Do not expect the fancy restaurant , this is not the right place.but if you are looking for a fresh homemade cuisine as it was 20 years ago in Italy , please do not hesitate. You... More

We were just strolling down the Lungomare from Centro and spotted this restaurant across the way. The owner lady made this lunch a special occasion for us with her recommendations of the Sweet and Sour Pesce and the Polpettini alla Diavolo. The huge mixed salad was wonderful along with a nice white wine. To top off the whole experience our... More

We ate here twice during our stay in castelsardo because the food was delicious and plentiful. The first time we had the seafood tourist menu - mussels and squid followed by seafood linguine (great). On the second occasion I had the seafood linguine again while my friends shared a platter of fresh whole fish and prawns. I agree with the... More

Run by a typical Italian Matriarch, who more or less told you what you wanted, did this with a smile. Homely cooking and seafood was particularly good, would not have the lasagna though a meat was difficult to find.

A definite must if you're in the area and fancy some true home-cooking. Angela and her lady chef were so friendly and welcoming. There was no-one else in the restaurant the first night we went there and hesitated about going in...but we were so glad we did! The food was lovely and Angela so sweet, with a real desire that... In 1959 it was the only trattoria when the town still had white roads. Run by a nice friendly old lady that claims that her fish soup is unchanged since 1959!! We only ate here once last year and once this year and had the soup (order it in advance) it's really special, no fancy expensive fish in it, as... More

In 1959 there was only one white road running along the coast in Castelsardo, and on this road lived a family with 10 children. Papa was a fisherman and he taught his sons how to fish. Every evening Mamma would make a huge pot of zuppa di pesce (fish soup), put it on the table and the family would tuck... More

A few nights later, we came back to the restaurant, and me & my friend both ordered the prawns. We were surprised when only 5 prawns arrived, and we asked the waiter where... More
