High quality ice cream

I can't fault the ice cream, though some of the flavors may seem just a bit peculiar. Chocolate-wise, you won't go wrong with Chocolate #3 and I'm sure most of the other traditional standbys are equally good. My only complaint is that servings are miniscule: anything less than two scoops could only satisfy a small child.

Always inventive, surprising, flavorful, and just a generally fun atmosphere at their Main St Cambridge location. I have often skipped dessert while out at a nearby Cambridge restaurant, opting to go to Tosci's instead.....2 scoops and hot fudge hits that spot every time for me!

Probably the best artisanal ice cream in the USA (How's that for a fancy millennial adjective?) Tosci's is a cult place, but the kind of cult that welcomes everyone. If you are lucky, Gus, the owner, will be there to delight you with stories. The ice cream itself? Flavors like Grape Nut Raisin, Belgian Chocolate, and Mango (sorbet or ice... More

This place is well worth the trip to Cambridge. I was fortunate to meet Gus - the owner who gave us such a treat. The flavors are well balanced without being over bearing and too rich. Best. Ice cream. Ever.

We've been going to Toscanini's since they opened in 1981. Returned after 30 years and it has lived up to expectations. Deliciousness. Flavorful. Amazing.

Those of us of a certain age can remember when Steve's ice cream burst on the scene in Cambridge. It was a revelation of dense, creamy, intensely-flavored deliciousness. The folks who run Toscanini's got their training and their standards from Steve's and took the excellence even further. Reading the list of flavors is an exercise in frustration for the out... More

Okay, I like ice cream but do not love it. I loved the salted caramel I experienced here! Just the right amount of sweetness, rich and creamy. More than one scoop would have been too much, but one was perfect!

The ice cream was good. I am not sure I would say the best I have ever had but yummy. Definitely a college hang out place and I liked that they did not cheat you on the serving size especially for what you pay for a scoop!

Come here for the best ice cream in New England! They also have great coffee - try the vanilla latte infused with real vanilla beans. I lived in Cambridge for 6 years during college and graduate school and I would come here ~5 days a week to write my thesis. Lines are long, but that's because it's so good. Love... More
