Good Beer, Good Food, Great Dessert

Visited for my 40th birthday. There beer is very good as is their food. My husband and i both got salads and they were fresh and very good. Since it was my birthday i got a dessert for free and i chose the flourless chocolate almond torte. It came in a jar with vanilla ice cream. It was heaven... read more

I have been to this restaurant twice over the past three years. The food and service has been too awful to forgive. The only good thing they do well is brew beer. Although, they were out of half of their options during the last experience. Harvard Square has many better options for spending your time and money.

Great quality food. So not only great beers but the food is great too. I had the pressed Creole Cuban sandwich. It was perfect. The fries were perfect too

The atmosphere here is great - dark walls, lit stained glass, brewing tanks. The beer is good. The service? Okay. I remember the food being a lot better. I went recently and was underwhelmed. The Caesar salad was really good but the salmon was served in some kind of candy apple red sweet sauce that completely overpowered it. It was... More

Nice ambience, good variety of food, spacious, and very courteous staff. Beer menu is limited, and not the finest of the crafts, however very good. A lovely place to hop into for drinks or dinner if you are around the Harvard area.

My husband and I found this restaurant while wandering around Harvard. It was great!! The atmosphere was really cool-it looked like an old church on the inside. Unique stained glass throughout, and just a really neat pub feel. We tried a few of the house brews, which were really good. The food was hearty and delicious, and the service was... More

I visited the Brew House during conference trip. The steak was really good and beer excellent. A perfect ending for a walking tour around the Cambridge before heading back to the Boston city.

Enjoyed tasty and well prepared burgers and the 'ridiculously good grilled cheese sandwich' which was in fact great. Beer was interesting and tasty and ambiance just what we hoped for. Glad we came.

so we had to have a brown ale instead which didn't very good ... it was just okay ... so a bit disappointing there. As for the food, it was pretty good. A burger, the 4-cheese and the lobster/avocado club were shared; bacon was placed on the side as requested. I like to judge the food prep by the quality... More
