This is a real no-frills experience as described by the other reviewers. The wait staff will try to cram as many people into the tiny eating area as possible which means that if you are eating alone, you will soon have company at your table! But you don't come here for the atmosphere, you are here for the fabulous ramen.... More

Sapporo Ramen is located within the Shops at Porter Square, which has a small food court area comprised of small Japanese and Thai restaurants. We waited for about 30 minutes at 7:30pm on a Tuesday (the place is tiny--9 tables for 2) but it was very much worth it. I had the vegetarian ramen and my companion had the spicy... More

I love this restaurant! Or I shall say their Ramen. To my opinion it is the best place to have Ramen in Boston area. It is small, very few tables, service is not always the best and servers can be annoying. But again, Ramen is so yummy, it is worth to go again and again.

My sister took me here for Ramen my first visit to Boston three years ago and I've been hooked ever since. It is a must do whenever I'm in town. The place is small but do a good job at getting you your food quickly and it always comes out hot! If you come during a lunch or dinner rush... More

Very authentic experience, we showed up right before a long line started on a Sunday at about noon. The broth here is on the rich/thick side, more like a light gravy than a soup. They say it's from the collagen from the chicken bones, I'm not sure I was excited about thinking about all the rich collagen in my soup... More

We travelled to Japan and had ramen in several occasions, and have to say that the ramen from Sapporo Ramen in Cambridge is comparable to those we had in Japan. This is a place we loved to go to whenever we have an opportunity to enjoy a steaming hot large bowl of delicious ramen.

If I could snap my fingers and change one thing about Boston, it'd be to add ramen places everywhere. I lived in Japan and nothing made me happier than sitting down at a ramen counter and getting a giant bowl of the most delicious thing in the world. Sapporo has reproduced that almost perfectly. Their recipes are delicious and inventive,... More

I have been going to this Ramen soup place for many years. It has changed as ownership has changed a few times. However there is nothing like it around and it is great. The soups are very good and they work like a well oiled machine as there is always a line to get into this tiny restaurant. As you... More

This is true Sapporo style Ramen. Forget everything you know about those dry packets at the grcery store. The stock is cooked for over 10 hours and is to die for. The pork buns are delicate and very tasty, definitely worth having as an appertizer. The house ramen is classic with miso, onion and pork. The spicy ramen and the... More
