Unique pizza, very busy at lunch time.

We have visited Cambridge 1 (so named because many years ago it was fire station Cambridge 1) a number of times since it replaced the former Young and Yee Chinese restaurant. It has a range of seating options. There is a long counter along the front window with stools, which is fine if you don't... read more

This review is long overdue for this great spot right off Harvard Square. A variety of pizzas come in half and whole sizes and I find that the half size is perfect for a light lunch. My favorite is the #1, basically tomatoes (not tomato sauce) and cheese, but it's possible to get add-ons, like chicken. for even such a... More

I have the bib lettuce salad with Gorgonzola cheese and a Dijon vinaigrette followed by a half lobster pizza. The pizza was quite good, although it's not the usual Italian red sauce and goopy cheese with toppings style. Instead: Flatbread and more strategic toppings. I like the room. The staff was very friendly and quick. The location is very convenient... More

Have a half pizza and enjoy your partner's half over beers. It's enough! With Great salads. And do look over the lovely historical Cambridge graveyard of the 1600s.

If you're on the Atkins diet, this may be the pizza place for you. Otherwise, I'd keep right on walking to a real pizza parlor. The "crust" is more like a wafer-thin cracker as opposed to a thin yet still-made-of-bread base that I expect and love in a thin-crust pizza. If I'm going to eat pizza I want pizza in... More

if you love thin-crust topping-loaded pizzas, this is the place to go! We always order two different halfs as it is plenty for two people.

Delicious thin-crust gourmet pizzas in a great location just off Harvard Square. Love that they offer half pizzas too: the portion sizes are huge!

Hands down this was the best pizza I have ever had. Charcoal oven thin crust and tasty toppings. I had the Italian sausage. Located in the old fire hall. Great service and beer selection, too.

In an old fire station they are making very good pizzas in Harvard Sq. Prices are reasonable and the convenient location in the sq. is a big plus. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Searched for the best thin crust all over the web. Ended up here. Wish the Signage was better. Great industrial minimalistic atmosphere. Pizza arrived at our table and I had to take a piture! Thin and cooked on charcoal. I almost ordered a second. Excellent excellent excellent and we are pizza snobs.
