We were rushing to a show at the Central Square Theater, and needed some sustenance. The Asgard filled the need just fine. Among the four of us we had the Beef & Guinness Stew, the Fish & Chips, the Mac & Cheese and the Chicken & Goat Cheese Salad. We all shared. Everybody was happy with their choices. For me,... More

Beautiful, lively decor, a cross between Irish pub, medieval and Danish modern! Food choices very good with such items as Shepherd's Pie and beef tips, which seem to be a local favorite Service was fast and efficient. Reasonably priced for the area.

We loved the wide selection of beers on draught. Guinness too of course. Food was good too - we recommend the shephard's pie. Chicken pot pie was a tad too salty.

Overpriced, does not carry Harp lager, the fries were old cold ones mixed in with a few freshly fried ones....we will never go back especially with all the great pubs in Boston! We were extremely disappointed.

This is a fun, above-average pub/restaurant, conveniently located on Mass Ave to the MIT campus. We enjoyed the food and the quick, attentive service. The hummus plate (light crispy pita chips were a delicious surprise), burgers, crab-cod cake and particularly delicious sweet potato fries were all well received by everyone in our group. Seems the place is also really linked... More

The Asgard is a good go to place in Cambridge. Ample seating, reliable food and service. On this occasion I came for dinner with colleagues from work. Waitstaff was nice and timely. They have a vast selection of drafts - which is much appreciated. Food is not the best, not the worst. I'd say middle of the road burgers, decent... More

We made this our first port of call after the long trip from the UK. We were welcomed warmly on each occasion we visited, both for a 'beer' and for food. Wine prices a bit steep but comparable to the rest of the places we visited!

We ate dinner here on a busy Saturday night. We were promptly seated and our waiter came right to our table. The menu was extensive with lots of Irish dishes, seafood, sandwiches and salads. We had the beef stew, a chicken, pear and goat cheese salad with walnuts and a hamburger, as well as several regional brews. All were well... More

Fun local bar, good selection of beers and food. Live music is excellent. A modern take on the Irish bar theme.

This became my favorite spot for drinks and food. Particularly enjoyed the Parmesan encrusted cod with mash potatoes and green beans. Drinks were good. A very active happening place!
