I've ordered takeout maybe 5 times over the last 10 years, and been disappointed every time. I really don't know what it is, but the food just doesn't taste that good. There are plenty of other places within a couple of miles. My longtime favorite closed a few years ago, but Kebab Factory is pretty good.

Average and taste like many others. Challenging to find good Indian food here. The four entres we ordered tasted similar when what we orders were spicy, medium & mild. All were 'very mild'...

I love Indian food and I really wanted to love Passage to India; but alas, I could not. Don't get me wrong-- it's not a bad place. It's clean, the service is friendly, the location is convenient (right near the Porter Square T station on the Red Line, for those who don't have a car), and it does have a... More

Ate at the restaurant with a few friends using a Groupon coupon. Very good deal with Groupon. The food is good and the service was very efficient. If you are in the Porter Square area check it out.

We dined at Passage to India with a groupon and we were not disappointed. For $50 four people shared two appetizers (or one mixed appetizer), four entrees and four desserts. We had the mixed appetizer which was pretty nice, the entrees tikka lamb, chicken vindaloo, a spinach & cheese dish and chicken curry. All were very tasty. I would recommend... More

Like other places I have dined, I decided to simply ask the waiter to bring us what he would serve to his beloved mother. We enjoyed the garlic naan, chicken makhni and a few vegetarian dishes. Based on the flavor, I would have to say he loved his mother, but not notably so. Adequate portions, standard fare, tasty and good... More

4 for a set (late) lunch. Greeted warmly and orders taken promptly then left alone to chat. All four dishes came quickly and we were all left wiping the sauces from our plates with the delicious nan bread, smiling and wanting more.

I grew up on Indian, my mom grew up in India, so I have a pretty good grip on authnetic food, and this is not it. It's like getting really sweet General Gau's chicken, you know? It doesn't exist in China as a meal, and shouldn't here either. The food was bland and tasteless, the vindaloo not spicy at all,... More
