Great appetizers!

We love all the appetizers , we had the chorizo oats and Portuguese cheese, the octopus salad , the calamari and the gambas. We order for main course - the steak and egg ( to hard and not to much seasoning ) the cod and garlic had way to much oil for my taste and the pork chops were a... read more

There is a world in the appetizers. You could eat very well just from those. The marinated fish , the mixed vegetable, crepe, goes on and on and terrific fun. The main course lamb was good, but in the end too much food. Portuguese beer was a welcome contrast to the usual selections.

This restaurant is excellent for couples, families or large groups! They have flexibility with table arrangements and can accommodate your needs. The food is wonderful! Portuguese cuisine at its best! Their seafood is done to perfection and they have good choices for wine. The atmosphere is modern and clean but cozy at the same time. The staff is multilingual and... A good place for lunch, a friendly waiter ... The quantity vs price ratio is well in your favor!...Try the cataplana dishes and bacalhau na nata... Of dessert coconut cake.

Tremendous seafood in this neighborhood restaurant. The food reminded us of Lisbon. Service was very good and as I am not well versed on Portuguese wine, we relied on the waiter to help us select a Red which was excellent. The Walter's Platter appetizer including shrimp, octopus and squid is a meal unto itself. We will return!

Atasca is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Very good, authentic Portugese food, nice atmosphere, friendly owners. In warm weather, enjoy a lunch in their shaded sidewalk patio.

We stopped for dinner on cold October night. Restaurant was peaceful and beautifully decorated with ceramic plates covering walls and quiet regional music in the background. We ordered appetizer from a server who was extremely hard to understand (heavy accent) but was very polite and quick. Warm bread, olive oil with roasted garlic along with Queijo con Pate arrived very... More

The place, the owners and the wait staff provide a nice, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy an excellent, we'll-prepared meal. Being Portuguese I know and appreciate Portuguese food and having tried many of the items on the menu, I've never had a bad meal. I would recommend you try any. If it sounds good, it is. Kudos to Joe and Maria,... More

While visiting Boston, my cousin took me to Atasca in Kendall Square, Cambridge for dinner. I have had limited experience with Portuguese food, so I was defintely curious. We started off with some delicious bread with a really good olive oil and garlic dipping sauce. I had the Febras de Porco, which is marinated pork loin medallions sauteed with white... More

We went after catching a movie at Kendall Cinema. We were seated promptly and our orders taken when we were ready. We had a group of five friends who enjoy talking so it took us a while to make our decisions on food but our waiter was gracious and patient. The food was tasty and fresh. No complaints from anyone... More
