It's gone down hill

There are a few places in Cambridge that have always been my go to place when I want good reliable food. Daedalus was one of those places. The food isn’t fancy, and it isn’t pretentious. That’s what I liked about it. Yes, you did read the past tense correctly, and for very good reasons. Now I... read more

we moved from France since 2011 and Daedalus is the better restaurant in Harvard Square. The food was so tasty, we ate a Roasted Porkloin and a Chicken kabobs. No extra fat or sauce just the real taste of meat and vegetables, they find the perfect matching taste with vegetable fruit and meat. Keep the Roasted Pork loin in your... More

Wandering around the town enjoying the day. Decided to eat and asked some passerbys where to eat. They were college kids who suggested this place because it was literally across the street. It looks just okay from the outside and nothing special inside. The people were friendly enough but nothing out of the ordinary. Then the food came. WOW the... More

I had heard that brunch is hard to score in Cambridge, due to popularity, and wanted to try this place because it's listed as a 'hometown favorite.' I think it is popular with students and those visiting, the vibe is young. We went at 10:30 am and didn't need the reservation we'd made, it was almost empty. The food was... More

Within a short walking distance of Harvard University on Mt. Auburn Street, is this wonderful restaurant. It was a sunny day, so we enjoyed lunch up on their rooftop dining area. It was a great place to enjoy a brunch. Though there was plenty of space inside to dine, we chose to eat outside. We joined many others eating outside!... More

Very nice restaurant. Indoor is nice, but rooftop is even better. Very tasty food, I loved the salmon. Easy to reach by the T. Reservation recommended, in particular in the weekend

Food average. Bar vibe not as nice as the Boathouse. Student hang out . Lacked the vibe of the Boathouse which felt like it had a different energy.

The location is the best part of this restaurant. The rooftop dining area on a warm summer night with the views of Harvard below make this just perfect. Our son took us here on the first night visiting him in Boston. It was a great was to start our vacation. The menu was not elaborate but had enough to choose... More

This is a kind of English pub with additional outdoor seating on the roof. The day we were there in November it was just warm enough to sit outside. There was a wide selection of ales to go with typical pub food. We liked the quirkiness of the place; we were happy that we stumbled upon it.
