Description: Opened in 1996, Grafton Street Pub & Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for more than a decade. This neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin’s famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street deftly combines the warmth and coziness of a traditional neighborhood pub with the aesthetic of a contemporary restaurant. During the summer months, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on Grafton Street’s spacious sidewalk patio. The restaurant offers full bar service and boasts a seasonally-changing wine list with over 75 varieties, as well as a robust selection of craft beers from several local breweries.

I was in town for eight days at Harvard and this place became my 'local'. Friendly staff and great Guinness made a good first impression. The bar food was top notch too. No frills, but it has a lovely energetic buzz to it. Nicely located and very well laid out. By my last night, the barman poured me a drink... More

You can taste from a delicious salad, passing to order a pizza and ending with a hamburger. We only taste the caesar salad and was good and very close to harvard yard

This restaurant always has good food, a lively crowd by the bar, and plentiful drinks. Located in the heart of Harvard Square, it is a good meeting place if you are visiting, or want to meet someone without wandering too far away from campus--and stay on foot.

I read the reviews before booking my Thanksgiving Day meal here, and was optimistic. I wished, in hindsight, that I stayed home and ate that cold pizza in the fridge. The food was bad, really bad. We had the calamari, cioppino, and warm sugar cake for dessert. The dip for the calamari was dreadful, and the calamari was cold. The... More

We were here this past summer and the food was just amazing and the prices very reasonable. This is a great location and the service was excellent.

Located right in Harvard Square. Dark, masculine looking restaurant with bar area. Rosemary truffle fries were great...crisp and tasty. Daughter had the pork loin and loved the carrot ginger purée and Gorgonzola corn cake. I had the bavette steak with mashed potatoes...wonderful flavor. Fair prices. Nice menu variety. Good service. Would definitely return.

Travel to Cambridge frequently and this is a great spot for a business dinner. The food is typically excellent and my family always asks to do at least one meal at graft on Street whenever they are in town. The crab cake is very good as is the creme brûlée du jour.

I like Grafton Street Pub, and the food and service are good. However, it's looking a bit worn and could use an update of its tables and basic items. The food was good. I had a cuban sandwich and both it and the fries were good. The waiter was every professional and my pear cider was good, too. The prices are... More

The atmosphere here is OK not great - there were 4 of us and they put us at a round table with one person in a chair - it was way too big and we all ended up sitting in a semi-circle - annoying. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. However, she checked on us every 5... More

We were a fairly large group--- 6 people--- on a Saturday night, so things were very busy. Our waiter seemed to be a very friendly and thoughtful fellow but the service could not keep up with demands from all the patrons. Our waiter seemed to have tables in various parts of the restaurant and would disappear for 5-10 minute stretches.... More
