Great Place for Friendly Gathering

About 12 of us wanted to gather for dinner before the semester got underway - and enjoy a group gathering of parents and friends. Grafton Street was wonderful to accommodate us on short notice. The staff was polite, professional and attentive to service as the kids were hungry! The food was well... read more

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised. Quinoa burger, served with half salad and half fries, was delicious. Eggs Benedict Avocado was a perfectly done veggie version of the classic. Tea was lovely, service was great, staff was accommodating in storing our suitcases... I really had low expectations going on, but ended up liking... More

Service is good. we arrived with larger group than reserved for and staff made it possible for us all to heave dinner, although the restaurant was booked. We started off with drinks at the bar and transferred to tables afterwards. starters are served as small plates to share. we had Moules Frites from PEI mussels with sauvignon blanc, hand cut... On the plus side, the staff is consistently friendly. On the other, the food is average, the wine list is so-so and the place is too large to have an atmosphere or a vibe. Its the kind of place you chance upon when everyone in your group has vetoed something

When in a hurry, we've managed to make it to the theater on time. But with a full evening another time, we could take our time and not feel rushed. The table for two was tiny, though, and I kept worrying we'd spill.

Stopped in here for a quick mid-day bite. We expected generic, nondescript and got quite the opposite. It was Saturday brunch menu. One in our party had the quinoa chickpea burger which she said was the best veggie burger she'd EVER had. The fries are great. The Caesar salad was superb (easy to get it wrong). Our pre-teen chose fruit... More

Probably the worst service and food on this trip to Boston. We waited 10 minutes for a table, and I wish we had simply gone elsewhere. The waitress was disinterested and slightly supercilious. I had corn beef hash with potato and poached eggs. The potato has slightly undercooked and the whole thing was watery. My wife had something equally non-descript.... More

An excellent place to while away the lunch break, especially if you can get an outside table. Service was prompt, if a little sloppy, but more than made up for it by the quality of food which came from a reasonably short menu.
