I've been here four times now and have been impressed every time. The service is quite quick and the prices are very reasonable. I had dinner with a total of five people, with multiple drinks each and the cheque came out under $90. The chips with salsa are fresh and delicious. It isn't a quiet atmosphere for an intimate date... More

We are in Cambridge once a year in winter and often end up at the Border Café. sometimes it is very good but this time only fair. My husband and I had the shrimp and soft shell crab quesadilla, (minus the crab). Mine was pretty good with adequate very small but firm shrimp, and lots of melted cheese. The shrimp... More

I've been going to this restaurant since I was in graduate school over 25 years ago, and I've never had a bad meal. The service is always fast and efficient. The chips are always fresh and hot -- and the food is excellent. I've enjoyed the Mexican side of the menu but have a soft spot for the popcorn shrimp... More

It's THAT good. Tex-Mex in Massachusetts - who would believe it? Great drinks. All of our meals were delicious-big portions and lots of variety. Great service (thanks Brian) Ask to be seated downstairs-too much fun!

The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Our waitress, Yukino, was awesome!!! I would definitely recommend Borders Cafe for dinner.

A good Mexican restaurant with giant portions and the best guacamole you could ever want. Large selection with a vegetarian section also. Good atmosphere. Go early as it fills up quick

For a laid back lunch or dinner, this is a great place for fish tacos and a margarita. Are there better Mexican places in Cambridge? Sure. But this is a harvard square staple, loved by students and locals. The portions are big, the food is great. Happy hour deals, ect.

Border Cafe is a very nice place to go with friends or family. Nice environment, great bartenders and friendly service overall. The Margarita at this place is the best I had so far. Souza Gold and Patron Margarita are my favorite and fresh fried nachos are available if you go just for drinks… and they are delicious! If you're looking... More

Friendly bartenders & staff at this location! I love the chips & guacamole and the frozen margaritas were the perfect choice for Friday night drinks after work. One thing the work on is better ventilation, it was filled with the smell of fried chips that was a bit overpowering.

Ample portions, staff was very nice and helpful. My mother couldn't remember the name of the dish she had liked there on a previous day. The waiter and the manger/kitchen manager took time out to figure out which one it was and to serve her. Really great service. Atmosphere is loud and ideal fro chats and laughs in groups, not...
