Casual mexican

Very very casual Mexican. College kids everywhere. Very modestly priced for good food. Chips are fresh and margaritas are always good!

Our friend took us to her favourite food joint in town, and we weren't disappointed! The service was exceptional (unlimited chips and salsa were very unexpected!) Margaritas were a hit and went down a little too easily! Servings were very generous (we only needed 2 platters for 3 people!) if you are in the area, you have to dine here!

I love this place. The noise level has always bothered me but it's noisy because it's so popular and full of customers, so that tells you something. I usually get cheese enchiladas. That's my old standby in Mexican restaurants just like eggplant Parmesan is for me at Italian restaurants. If it passes the test then I'm a return customer. I've... More

I repeatedly visit this place and usually for the matgaritas! The food is delicious, the environment is lovely but.. The margaritas! Haha Best in the area & WAY better than any local chain restaraunt. Tasty and NOT watered down!!

While in Cambridge for work, myself and a colleagues had been recommended to go to Border Cafe! The food was delicious, from the chips given to us while we waited, to the main course chicken enchiladas and the strawberry daiquiri! In fact we found the food and atmosphere in Border Cafe so good it was difficult to bypass it and... More

Seven of us rode the T into Harvard square. Immediately when the train arrived I looked up restaurant near me on TA. Border Café popped up with a high rating and we could see it from the sidewalk at the top of the T station stairs. We walked in and were lucky enough to sit immediately though the place was... More

I have not been here in 10 years, but back in Boston so decided to see if it was still there. I had eaten here on many occasions and this time with my family. The Mexican food here is delicious, if you are in Harvard Square you must visit. Their chips and salsa are amazing. The chips come out warm... More

The food here is really good mexican style food (especially the guacamole) and the service is really fast too. I recommend eating here, but do be prepared for long waits Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights.
