Very cool, altough you end up eating more nachos then what you would have expected, the food is quite good and the prices ok. we went there with larger groups (10) and we managed to find space. frendly staff, a place to stop

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Very attentive staff. I think this is some of the best Jambalaya I've had anywhere, including New Orleans. And the Gulf Seafood Enchilada is spectacular. We try to get here whenever we're in Cambridge.

Recently had a late lunch at the Border Cafe in Harvard Sq with my son. After scoring a perfect parking spot at a meter directly across the street we were seated at a lovely table by the window looking out to Church Street. We considered several of our many favorite options on the menu before deciding to choose the beef... More

Just had a great family dinner with our 3 boys at the Border Café. As a walk-in, it only took us 20 minutes to get a table on a Saturday night. The decor is colorful and fun. The atmosphere is upbeat. Justin the waiter was especially friendly and helpful. There was a never-ending supply of free chips and salsa. The... More

Used to come here as a student over 20 years back and loved it. All I can say after a meal yesterday is that it's even better than before. Had to wait 40 minute on a Tuesday night. Excellent food and great margaritas. Must visit

Very impressed with this place - went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. My sister had quesadillas - an enormous portion for the price of $9 and delicious. I had blackened salmon salad for $11 which was similarly generous and delicious. Would definitely come back here, both for the value and the quality of the food. Also not too busy... More

I ain't a fan of Mexican cuisine, so the Cajun offerings were very much welcomed. Arrived with a group of 6 so-called adults and 3 toddlers on Sun during lunchtime. Were seated immediately. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. Complementary chips and salsa, fast service, rather expansive menu. Good size portions, mountains of fries, lots of items around 10$, decent... More

Border Cafe is on my list since 1995. Over the years, I have tasted most items in the menu but I always go back to the chicken fajitas. All ingredients are fresh and the chicken grilled to perfection. They used to offer The Cadillac Fajitas (which were served with filet mignon) but that was a while ago and the price... More
