Good Food!

Great for large, fun crowds and birthday parties. Harvard Sq. can be a little bit of a nightmare to find parking, but worth it!

I absolutely love Border Café in Harvard Square. Parking is terrible - but once you find that coveted spot - you can journey into a little slice of culinary heaven. Excellent food based in Mexican and southern cuisine. The chips are warm and delicious, get the guacamole - you will not regret it. I usually get the blackened chicken or... More

We went in on a Monday night. We had great service. We loved the chips and salsa. I had beef quesadillas. They were fantastic. I would recommend this place even though it is a chain.

The restaurant offers good food, service is totally ok. But: - it is extremely smelly, you have to wash your clothes afterwards - it is extremely loud, you can hardly talk to someone - the tables are dirty and sticky

I've been coming to their Cambridge location for 15+ years. Although I always get the chicken burros, the quality is always consistent. And the salsa is awesome. Not too spicy or watery. The nacho chips are sometimes really salty though, and a few times stale. Be prepared for hour+ wait time after 6pm on weekends. Being in the heart of... More

We used to come here during college so we wanted to return with our families for our 20th reunion. I was a little concerned since they don't take reservations and it sounded from the reviews the hosts can be pretty tough. But I called ahead and asked a few questions and the host was perfectly nice. Our party was big... More

We were there on a crowded Friday night. Food was barely adequate, drinks were watery and service was bad. There are better places for Mexican food in Cambridge.

And it's still good. We weren't easy- Vinegar out of the question, Glutten free for one of us and an accent to break yr teeth on. BUT, the Margaritas came tasty with the right amount of alcohol, the fajitas were exceptional and the overall ambience was super.

Excellent food, great margaritas! (Their Sangria is excellent too, as well as their beer selection.) Be prepared to wait for a table because this is a popular place, but it's worth the wait. They will give you a wireless dodad so you can wait anywhere & they will notify you when your table is ready.
