I've been to Ole for dinner, for drinks at the bar, for brunch—whatever the occasion, it feels like a special treat. This is Mexican food that is a cut above the typical fare. Expect innovative dishes and a margarita menu to match. Don't miss the guacamole, which is made to order at the table (but expect to have too much... More

What a delightful brunch! The ambiance in this little gem is bright and cheerful. All three of us had the crab cakes benedict - delicious. Lots of interesting items on the menu. The coffee, with raw brown sugar, orange zest and cinnamon sticks was divine. I would definitely return.

From the outside of the building, I wasn't expecting much, although I friend said this restaurant had great food. I also found that I liked the interior, that - I guess - has been warmly redone. We were seated near the front window before the bar where there were three tables. So it felt intimate and sheltered. We had reservations... More

We've had some great dinners here. We love the food, but it's so popular that it's pretty overwhelming (crowded and loud) at the height of the dinner hour on the weekends. Go early and go on a weeknight if you want to actually converse at the dinner table. The guacamole is really good; the margueritas might be too good! I... More

Came here for a dinner recently and was impressed. Very fresh food in a lively atmosphere. It was rather quiet when we first arrived, but quickly livened up. Service was good - although the waiter could have been a bit more attentive to our table. Guacamole was very good and the food was very tasty, not greasy at all. I... More

The food and décor is good and they are one of the few places around that has parking (in the back of the restaurant). Get the guacamole... it's good. That said, they pack people in like sardines here. They probably should increase the cost of their food, move a few tables out and consider making the tables bigger. We felt... More

Glad we finally made it back to one of our favorite places. We had a reservation and they were waiting for us. Service was outstanding and friendly. The bar is now on the right side of the restaurant - and bigger and the walls are brighter. We too love the guacamole cart where they prepare it fresh at table side.... More

Sorry Legal Seafood and Turner Fisheries but Ole has more interesting perfectly prepared fish than I've found just about anywhere in Boston/Cambridge and I live here. This is a fun and friendly restaurant that knows how to execute. I usually go with a friend and start with the guacamole prepared at the table. Today I was at the bar alone.... More

Really excellent Mexican restaurant. You know how so many restaurants feel so dirty? Ice tea in red plastic glasses and old chips... This is NOT the case here. The Guacamole bowl was super fresh and perfectly prepared. We all got the enchilada dish of 3 different ones... Each with its own sauce. Amazing. Hot. Tasty. The meat was fresh inside.... More
