Description: Rialto is a welcoming gathering place for the community and Charles Hotel...
Rialto is a welcoming gathering place for the community and Charles Hotel guests. James Beard award-winning chef and owner Jody Adams embraces New England ingredients with regional Italian culinary traditions. Kitchen focus hops to a different region each month and features dishes like Ricotta gnocchi with sage brown butter and red kuri squash and our Grilled swordfish with Friulian bean stew, white wine braised cabbage and house cured bacon. Patrons enter the restaurant via a white stone path inspired by an ancient Roman road, passing by the illuminated onyx bar into the dining room. Curved banquettes and cozy nooks invite intimate conversation while pumpkin, olive and white draperies evoke the warm colors of the Italian countryside. In 2009, Rialto opened a 28-seat terrace offering guests an al fresco dining option. The Boston Globe awarded Rialto a coveted four stars in three consecutive reviews and Gourmet Magazine named it one of the "World's Top Hotel Restaurants". Rialto offers two classically elegant, private spaces, ideal for wedding receptions, business meetings, recruiting events, celebratory parties, and more.

Elegant gourmet restaurant

Definitely for special occasions, and worth every penny. Beginning with our wine all the way through to dessert as well as an unexpected visit from the celebrity chef - an evening to remember!

The food was good, but the service was AWFUL!!! We were refused drink service by the waitress after 6-7 drinks for a party of 12. The waitress also stated our birthday celebration was a "little too loud" which was one of her reason for making a "judgement call" regarding drink service refusal. She also believed few people in our party... More

we went there for restaurant week, and it was really amazing food at a very reasonable price. We had the mushroom soup, the nocchi, and the ice cream sandwich for dessert. We were really impressed with the quality food and service.

Recently, my friends and I had dinner at Rialto Cambridge. It was amazing. The food was incredible, the service was spectacular and the setting was perfect. The drinks were terrific as well. We had decided to try the restaurant week menu and I am so glad we did. Delicious, exciting food explained in great detail by the staff and expertly... More

Bravo to the entire team at Rialto! I had an amazing dinner last night, as part of restaurant week, with 4 friends. Ruben was our server, he was wonderful - took time with the menu recipes and handling all of our many questions. The short ribs were to die for! The win list was amazing, and the service and presentation... More

This dinner was for a couples retreat for the night seeing that we were meeting with some friends for a Valentines dinner. Service walking in was fast got us to our reserved table next to the bar quickly. I do not drink wine but the list of wines was endless. The sea food dishes looked great as much as they... More

Participated in the super hunger brunch charity this past January with the team at rialto. Was so impressed to see the staff and chef owner come together on a Sunday morning and work for free for a charitable cause. The volunteers were given a delicious breakfast for participating and I cannot wait to return for dinner!

Rialto is among the very best of Boston & Cambridge. Expensive, but worth every penny. If you want a really memorable food experience, Rialto should be at the top of your list. We'll be back soon.

I stayed at The Charles Hotel from 2/16 -2/20 and ate at Rialto on the 16th and 19th. The service and food are excellent. on both occasions I ordered the roasted duck and lobster meals. I've had duck on many occasions and by far this was the best I've eaten. Stacy was our very attentive server on the 16th and... More
