Oleana and the other restaurants owned by the group are great places to eat in Cambridge! They are of top quality both in terms of food and service!

All but one dish were standouts, and we ordered a LOT! (did not care for the spicy fideo's, but the waitress kindly removed that from the bill, though we did not ask her to). The moussaka, and the short rib and the falafel were standouts, as were all of the desserts. Truly a great meal. Make a reservations though as... More

I made a reservation based on the glowing online reviews, travelled 2 hours, and got lost in boston for an hour just to have Oleana's experience. I was shocked, mainly by the horrendous ambiance. It is claustrophobically small, unwelcoming, tasteless, and shabby, in addition to the difficult parking. The most shocking feature is the black wrinkled nasty rag that was... More

Oleana is one of our favorite Boston/Cambridge area restaurants! Nicely spiced, Middle eastern influenced dishes - a cuisine very under-represented in the region. We especially appreciate the vegetarian tasting menu which is innovative and very well thought out. One of the area's best!

I understand this place is not for everyone. I.e: you don't like spices, you don't like to share your plate, you are not an "appetizer person" (my condolences, appetizers are the bomb!), etc. But for all the rest of you this is a must go. I hate when people review with a lot of feelings and opinions and little facts,... More

Went again, after an excellent meal a month or so back. Ordered the chefs menu and it was the same as last time and some of the dishes were poor and the menu was not well thought out. Really, if a couple is sharing a chef's menu, then it would be better to share dishes than have 2 of everything.... More

I hate to say it but Boston restaurants generally don’t compare to great restaurants in other major cities like New York, Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, etc. However, ever now and then there is a gem and Oleana is one of them. With Turkish/Middle Eastern influence, all the dishes are executed well with great flavors. The owner also runs a bakery... More

We FINAlly managed to eat at this little gem last saturday night. Getting a table for 4 of us on a Friday night has proved nearly impossible..and now we know why! We started off with a selection of mezes..every plate was a delight to the senses. Our main courses were good.. though I would have preferred to continue with a... More

This place is something else! The food is truly exquisite. Very well thought out menu, true genius. It is so wonderful to go to a place that is really into doing something very special. Turkish food and many other things. Wonderful complex flavours and they all work together. The chef has a brilliant palate, terrific. Cannot say enough good about... More

Dinner was good, but nothing blew me away. However, the dessert- a baked Alaska with passion fruit ice cream and coconut crust - was phenomenal. I'd recommend skipping dinner and just making a reservation for dessert.
