Falvorful Food!

The food is really good, we had the falafel, nettle pie, and lemon zaatar chicken, they were all amazing! The food does not taste like your traditional mediterranean middle eastern food, and thats coming from a middle eastern! Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Also, the baked... read more

We were delighted that there was a vegetarian tasting menu that combined different flavors and techniques.

On a beautiful evening we were recommended to wait for patio tables. Advised the wait would be 20-30 minutes, reality was 45. It's true the patio seating is delightful, the food was delicious and the servers very helpful, but... The organisation was a real let down. We went for the mese platters. Ordered 5 and anticipated they would arrive either... More

The food is divine - we had lots of sharing plates and really enjoyed them all. Our server helped us to choose and we were were not disappointed. (Try the Lemon custard baklava - yum). Negatives - the restaurant isn't very atmospheric and the table are close together. Finally the front of house hostess was not inviting at all in... More

Mediterranean-style seasonal small plates with produce supplied by local farms. Wonderful special occasion restaurant. I took my boyfriend there for a very special birthday celebration; we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. He eats meat and I am a vegetarian - we were both extremely happy! The server was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic about helping us make choices - he... More

What a treat to eat at Oleana. The food is unusual and out of this world. It's Turkish but with a modern sensibility. Wonderfully spices often with a subtle bit but never so that it overwhelms the food. The spinach falafel and the lamb and grape leave tart may have been my favorite but there was nothing I wouldn't eat... More

Oleana is one of my favorites for special occasions. Recently I had a dinner with out-of-town visitors and we loved all the small dishes ordered and shared, which included spinach falafel, lamb and grape leaf tart, nettle pie, sultan's delight, the scallops entree, and a couple of specials of the day. The red wine from Piedmont went well. Service was... More

Slightly over priced, but very good and creative middle eastern food! Starters have several vegetarian options. Service was very nice and attentive. Make a reservation before to avoid waiting time.

I can't remember the last time I had such good food in a restaurant. Anywhere... I did two meze, the lamb grape leaf tart which was excellent, and the calamari saganaki which was not what I expected, but it was still good. The chicken dinner (forget what is called) is probably top 3 chickens I have ever had. I wish... More

Oleana is an amazing restaurant serving Turkish-influenced, Italian-influenced Mediterranean food and the brain child of incredible chef Ana Sortun. Spice is the key here (and more than likely why Chef Sortun titled her cookbook, "Spice"!) The atmosphere is lovely but not at all stuffy and, in the warmer months, you can sit outside in the lovely garden space. Best way... More
