This joint rocks; noisemakers, merrymaking, laughter, enjoyment. The vibe is rambunctious and loud- reminiscent of a pirates galley. The staff is friendly and attentive. The service is brisk. Seafood is the speciality with a less than successful foray into Thai and fusion cuisine. The portions are... read more

We planned to have a group discussion as a breakout session for a conference close by but that turned out to be ill-advised. Could hardly hear ourselves. But my dinner was great- a tuna steak cooked med rare, just to my liking.

A friend and I had a truly terrible meal here last week. The fries that went with his fish and chips seemed as if they had been pre-cooked, then frozen, then badly reheated. They were soggy and cold inside. My Kansas ribs were so tough as to be almost inedible and were slathered in a sickeningly sweet sauce. The beans... More

Seafood is the speciality with a less than successful foray into Thai and fusion cuisine. The portions are gigantic; the staff on request will provide numerous containers. I looked at the menu for this restaurant and it looked a little expensive at first glance. We arrived with a large group, my first impressions were it was a little snug and more casual than I expected. HOWEVER, we ended up having a such a great experience I will walk you through it...First off we had a reservations at... More

After seeing the East Coast Grill on the Phantom Gourmet the week before, we just had to try it. We had dinner their last night with friends and it was great. It is loud and energetic as others have mentioned and was quite busy on a Saturday night so expect a little bit of a wait. Parking in Cambridge can... More

This friendly neighborhood seafood restaurant and bar is popular with college students and local families. It is a smaller restaurant and can be a little noisy but this Halloween night. The Snow Crab legs were delicious as was the Texas brisket; the quantity was generous. However, the Wild shrimp (from the Atlantic Ocean off South America) cocktail for $3.50 consisted... More

I was pleased to find ECG is offering Saturday lunch, as visitors from out of town were eager to try the restaurant. Service was excellent, but the menu was rather limited, e.g. no chicken dishes of any kind. They were conscientious in accomodating the gluten free diner in our group, though we would have appreciated if they had gluten free... More

I have wanted to try this place for years and now I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The food is good but not really special. The atmosphere isn't anything special either, loud music and wooden tables. We started with the oysters, which were wonderful. My friend and I each ordered a BBQ plate for dinner. They were... More
