Our seasonally changing menus features a variety seafood, poultry, and pasta dishes, many of which are prepared with greens and vegetables from our organic farm in Winchendon, MA. A pleasant surprise

After a late evening event , walked to the square to find a place to eat as my wife and I were famished. Saw a sign with Stating "oysters" and I had to investigate. We looked over the menu and decided to give it a try. We were asked if we wanted to dine outside- and since it was a... read more

Oysters 2 for 1. You can't go wrong with that. This place I only happened to find out by accident from a youtube video that wasn't in english. lol I'm so happy that I found it and we ended up going there twice. Lyla was a great waitress!

Lobster chowder and pork stew were out of this world! Nice presentation and flavorful. Service was "ok", nothing special and basically had to be chased down. It was a Friday night so you should take that into consideration. I'll go again but make a reservation. And the date?......a little arrogant, stuffy and too smart for me!! Lol.

We've been at The Red House in a group of six, four adults and two kids. The positive: Nice place, neat house, good bread. The Farmers Rice was really delicious and as good was the Caprese. So we're the oysters and the German Weissbier. The negative: We've tried to order a meal for the kids that was offered in but... More

The Caesar salad with a toasted baguette and gruyere cheese was good. The lamb loin entree comes in two sizes, the smaller has only one chop in it, but that was enough for me that evening. I had the cheese plate afterward, and learned something new -- had never had honey with cheese before. There were two kinds of honey,... More

My girlfriend and I went here for a quick drink and snack. We ordered the oysters because there was a special. 50 cent oysters cant be beat. Good beer selection and good service. Nice outdoor seating. Will definitely go back.

I only went for oysters and beer, great local selection - all were great. The location is a little bit off the main road so it is quieter than other places and feels more private. They have a great terrasse that isn't too loud with traffic. Though we didn't eat a meal, the staff was great and attentive. We did... More

Oh man. We had an amazing celebration dinner in this hidden gem of a restaurant. We got the adres of a local or we would've never found it. They have a lovely terrace so we sat in the setting sun on a great spring evening. We went for the lobsters at happy hour, had a truck load of these (decadent!)... More

Perfectly located just couple blocks away from Harvard Square, is this comfortable restaurant that takes you back in time, with the greatest seafood flavors and top wines. The Red House is a must when visiting, you will leave with a big smile on your face ! Not the fanciest but simply the best.
