LA Burdick, Cambridge and NYC are the best stopovers for chocolate in America. Even the coffee is fabulous. We tried almost all the deserts and but 'Hazelnut Orange Cake' is to die for...!! Chocolate Lemon cake also highly recommended. Milk chocolate with hazelnut bar a must to carry home in abundance.....

I go here EVERY chance I get! They have the BEST hot chocolate. It's very small so you can't always get a seat, and the parking is tough but worth driving around the block a dozen times! Don't miss it!

This place has the best hot chocolate I've ever had, bar none. It's a real treat. We've been back several times. The standard milk chocolate is awesome, but they have many varieties to try.

REAL hot chocolate! If you have been raised on the powdered stuff, you may not appreciate how decadent this stuff really is. European style atmosphere. Tiny area for seating. Excellent pastries. Really expensive chocolates. Tip: either read the ingredients of the various chocolate drinks available or ask-- it takes a discerning palate to appreciate these drinks. A bit pricey, but... More

Nice enough spot, but their hot chocolate is really bitter. I don't like their chocolates (too rich), and their mocha (coffee/chocolate) was equally thick and bitter. Hmm. Better places, and certainly not worth the extra $$.

Great mid day or mid afternoon for tea or Coffee and a nice pastry, if you are lucky to find a seat and enjoy it!

i'm a hot chocolate snob and this place came highly recommended. i was disappointed. it didn't taste like melted chocolate like some people say, and it's way too sweet for my taste. location was good, though. not coming back.

I've been a fan of LA Burdick chocolates for several years, but always ordered online and never made it to one of their cafes. This time I ordered their dark hot chocolate. I've never actually drunk liquid chocolate before, but now I know how this could be totally addictive. It might be the best non-alcoholic drink I've ever had. Didn't... More

This shrine to chocolate has handcrafted chocolate drinks, teas and coffees, and Vienese pastries. Lovely place, lovely food.
