From the time we walked in the door until we left, everything about this night was phenomenal. Husband and I had the eight-course chef's tasting menu with wine and oohed/ahhed with every bite. Server (Rob) was outstanding. We sat on the bar side, which seemed quieter and more intimate than the restaurant side. You will pay handsomely for this experience,... More

Innovative menu with lots of options. Vegetarian entrees just as interesting and innovative as others. Can opt for a "surprise" chef's tasting menu. Small and cozy dining room decorated with lots of antique mirrors. Open kitchen with great collection of antique pig cutting boards on the wall.

We have been to Craigie-on-Main many times and have enjoyed Tony Maws’s creative approach. We remember fondly the pork three ways, the pig’s head for two, pig’s tails, grilled octopus, and several fish dishes from previous occasions. There has been very little innovation in the menu over the past year or so, but that isn’t necessarily bad. Consistency is good.... More

We have looked forward to trying Craigie-On-Main and their preference for using local market produce, fish, etc. The staff was impressive with their courtesy and accomodations on booking and tables, as was the waitstaff who were terrific with their knowledge of the menu and wine list. Nice bistro-like atmosphere. We are foodies, and Craigie pushes you in different directions toward... More

I'm going to give them an excellent simply because I could not find any fault with the food or service. It was actually amazing. We went for the 6-course tasting, and although it was "interesting" I think if we went back (which isn't very likely) I would order off the menu and pick what I wanted to eat. The tasting... More

Finally got to go to and enjoy this famous restaurant. It went beyond my high expectations--it was really almost perfect, from the ambiance, to the service, to the plating, to the food. The only thing I had that wasn't an "A" was my coffee with dessert. That's it. Here's what our dinner party had. For first courses, we ordered the... More

We love the Sunday night tasting menus. The menus are always diverse, yet cohesive! It is the perfect note on which to end a weekend or begin the week. Service is impeccable and the bar is classic with a great selection of modern takes on nostalgic cocktails.

I went here on a recent trip for a leisurely brunch on a Sunday morning. It was highly recommended by the hotel concierge and it was a bit of a trip to get there, but well worth it. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The place has a lovely homely feeling and I could have easily spent the day here... More

Six of us ate at Craigie and all of us did the 6 course tasting menu and it was as close to perfect as a kitchen can get. Service was professional and the pace was spot on. Never rushed and always there when they were needed the entire staff is top shelf. If you enjoy great food and presentation this... More

We were in Cambridge and sort of "stuck" for a place to have dinner. We called Craigie after googling for restaurants, and called and got a reservation for 15 minutes later! Waitstaff was extremely attentive, helped us by bringing samples of wines we might like, and suggested appetizers that we would not likely have tried on our own, that were... More
