First, the service here was first rate. They knew that I had dined here previously, but that was more than seven years ago when they were Craigie Street Bistro. The waitress was fun and helpful, and made sure we had a brilliant experience. Second, the food was out of this world. Pasta rarely makes it on the menu these days,... More

Recently ate here with my spouse and we ordered the 8 course tasting menu. It was a crowded Saturday night and although we had a reservation we were prepared to wait as they entry way was crammed with people waiting for their tables. We opted for a high top in the bar and got seated pretty quickly. Service once it... More

We were greeted with a happy birthday wish for my wife - I had noted it in the online reservation weeks ago, no reminder needed. Shown to our table immediately. Warm intimate room. Every staff professional and cordial. Server equally enthusiastic about the food and our delight. We watched the staff tend to a diner who had become ill at... More

I haven't been there recently, Ii'm afraid. But it was indeed a superb meal. And it carried on the former Craigie Street (Harvard Square) level of cuisine and service. On that particular occasion we shared a very European meal of pig's head and all sorts of meats to follow. Everything was very good. The place is very expensive and some... More

Superb. Period. The tasting menu is an extraordinarily memorable experience. This one of those "it's a bit expensive but TOTALLY WORTH IT" restaurants.

We had very high expectations when we went to have dinner at this place. Food wasn't anything special but very expensive. I love pork and I was very disappointed with the testing menu :-(

Always an outstanding dining experience. Hamburger is absolutely wonderful as are the side dishes and rolls. Roasted sweetbreads are another must have when offered.

Inventive cuisine, relaxed atmosphere, great service, very knowledgeable staff who can tell you where the food you are eating came from! They source a lot of their food locally. You'll leave full and happy :)

Craigie is a very good choice if you want to enjoy a Sunday brunch without an all you can eat buffet or little children running amok. Brunch entree choices are bold and untraditional. Plenty of eggs (added to even the most unlikely dishes) but no eggs Benedict in sight (though you can order a Bloody Mary). On a recent visit,... More

I dined solo (as I quite often do on job trips), and was treated extremely nicely – the staff was very friendly but completely non-intrusive (difficult balance, that!). And the food was great – I had the six-course tasting menu, and several of the courses were truly memorable, a delicate and lovely lightly seared hamachi, for instance, and a ridiculously good lychee...
