Delicious meals!

Delicious meals since they were located on Craige St! My two out of this world dishes were: roast chicken and the pumpkin soup in the Fall. To die for! The new place can be a bit noisy but I will return for the food.

Interesting menu is the drawing card. Food taste was a bit disappointing but presented artfully. Quality of waitstaff service ranges from awful to wonderful.

After reading their web site and reviews I had certain expectations. I found no surprises. Enjoyed dining here very much. Service was excellent. Restaurant was very busy but we received full attention. My appetizer, Squid Ink Fagiolini Rigati Pasta, was excellent. Our waiter had recommended it to me. This is a good place for a special occasion. Expensive but worth... More

Best restaurant in both sides of the river. The place is a bit noisy, but the food is just amazing. I recommend to anyone who enjoys eating well - on the pricey side, though.

Really excellent drinks and fantastic burger (note- they run out fast so get there early on weekends and you have to sit in the bar area for the burger.) I sometimes order brussel sprouts if they're on the menu, but that's really all I order here. If you ever happen to be in Cambridge during a blizzard, this is a... More

Chef Tony Maws is into food and it shows in his constantly changing, seasonal menu and also the special events he hosts. You can get things here you might not see other places - such as sweetbreads - and you can be assured that they will be well cooked, seasoned, and delicious! If you've heard about the famous Craigie burger,... More

The service and selection of wine, cocktails and beer were outstanding. The real let down was the food. Some of the appetizers were very good just falling short of that "wow factor" which we were hoping to get for the price. The fried clams had pieces of shell in 3 of them which just ruined that dish. The entrees were... More

We had a birthday to celebrate and thought we'd stay in Cambridge rather than venture into Boston. After reading lots of reviews, we settled on Craigie. It's located on a busy stretch of Main, lots of cheap student restaurants and hangouts there. Our wait was long and although the food was decent, it was almost anti-climactic by the time we... More

Had the tasting menu, which was very tasty and nice; in particular the appetizers were fantastic. The main courses (truffle pasta and two types of lamb) were ok, but nothing spectacular. The wine list is interesting with many own imports, and an ok price/performance ratio. Service was excellent - which you of course expect in this kind of establishment. Though... More

Chef Tony Maws runs a fabulous kitchen at Craigie on Main. If you really want an exceptional dining experience, order the Tasting menu. There are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus. Just be aware that the tasting menu is a little more expensive than your average dinner plate, but worth every penny. The service is excellent. Worth every penny to enjoy... More
