I went to Boston last November, and had meant to review this restaurant, but of course, time got the best of me. Even though it was several months ago, I still remember the meal - it was that lovely. My friend and I had the "chef's whim", which ended up being 8 courses, and I still have the card they... More

The food is really amazing and there is a nice wine chart, but the ambient a little bit formal, I would enjoy more a less formal place.

We did the six course tasting menu and each course was better than the last. The flavors, textures and preparation techniques were wonderful. From the amuse bouche to the dessert each new dish was a delight. We were lucky enough to sit at the hightop across from the kitchen where we had an excellent view of all the food preparation... The chef-owner was selected as the James Beard Chef in the Northeast and this is evident.. Reservations are very necessary. Seating at the tables in the bar area is not as crowded and quieter. The menu is worth several meals just to try the unique items and unique taste creations. Many items I have not seen elsewhere, but I wish... More

A friend and I went on a Sunday night for their Chef's Whim surprise menu and it was a great experience. We opted for the 4-course meal plus a side option of bone marrow. Delicious food and very attentive service.

Loved this restaurant. Delicious food and so accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We'd definitely go back the next time we're in Cambridge.

Great place for the culinary traveler with an experienced palate. We arrived for last sitting at 10pm and left last at just before 1am. That's a sign that we enjoyed ourselves and our ambience, weren't rushed, and good spirt of the restaurant staff. The James Beard winning chef for best North East restaurant (albeit a few years ago now) was... More

Choose the restaurant because of its reputation for innovation and went for the taster menu. Food was excellent and there was flexibility in the chef's choice as we indicated that we were happy to have predominantly seafood. Thoroughly enjoyed the appetisers and the mains which were octopus ,pasta and steak and the sorbet which preceded the desserts but by the... More

First problem for us was the menu. We were using a gift certificate that we had won in a charity auction and so were not familiar with their offering. We were distressed to discover that it is full of things we've never heard of and did not appeal to us. Typical is their appetizer of Spanish Octopus a la Plancha... More

We had a good meal at Craigie well served by knowledgeable staff. However, seems to be very busy and crowded. Not much space between tables. No chance of a quiet relaxing meal. However didn't feel rushed and the food quality was very good if a bit overpriced. Excellent wine list but why mostly French? There are many excellent US wines... More
