Temple Bar reopened only recently after having been closed for several months due to a fire. The owners advertised changes to the menu and my husband and I were eager to try it out. We were so pleased with our entire experience. The restaurant looks very pretty inside, with a buzz but not a tremendous amount of noise. The additions... More

The Temple Bar was taken from the Temple Bar in Dublin, and it is really fun with great food. The best, most unusual pizza I had ever had. YUM! Every dish that was had by our party was superb! Atmosphere great as well as service. Within walking distance of our inn...The Mary Prentiss Inn and Harvard University.

Did not know what we would find and were very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful decor, interesting menu, plenty of drink choices with interesting combinations. This is a place that likes to play with it's food and drinks. Our meals were delicious. The only miss was the roasted red arugula with the scallops, very bitter and the missing flavor of horse radish... More

Six of us were looking for a reasonably priced place for dinner that was fully handicapped accessible, and Temple Bar was it. The brand new waitress was as accommodating as could be... if she hadn't been shaky on answering questions about the menu we never would have guessed it was her first day on the job. Our meals were very... More

We went as a family to Temple Bar; my brother, niece, mother and I. Some of us had been there before. We had reservations and were seated in a booth opposite a large (15 people) party that was enjoying a beer dinner. They were loud and this did not allow for conversation. We started with drinks and I had a... More

Great service, friendly staff, good bistro food with good variety. Very kind to children, at least the polite child I was with.

This is a cool place, with lots of atmosphere. But the food was attempting to be bold, adventurous, and memorable---but just could not make it all the way to memorable. Bad? No. But not too exciting,

This is a go-to place when I have a little extra money to spend. for tourists/travelers it is about a 15 minute pleasant walk from Harvard Square. Both brunch and dinner are excellent and cocktails are innovative and priced in $10-12 range. I like that it has many vergetarian options and often get 2 appetizers rather than one entree. for... We had a very nice brunch at the Temple Bar. The space was pretty. The service was good, with the earnestness that always pervades a restaurant near a college. The coffee was OK. The menu was good, varied and reasonably priced. The omelettes were very good. The pancakes were excellent. I would happily return.
