Nice seafood, good cocktails and great bar scene

This is a pretty typical restaurant these days with a great bar, interesting cocktails in a perfect walkable location if you're in Cambridge. Ordered a less than fashionable drink and it was made immediately and very well and its seafood dishes were all very good (all three of us ordered sea main... read more

Visited this venue with a bunch of friends. The venue itself is very impressive, fabulous décor and relaxed ambience. The staff are amazing very professional but also great fun. The range of food and drinks available is great. The quality of the food that all of our group experienced was excellent. Great place to visit if in Boston. I will... More

The restaurant was packed with groups enjoying an early Sunday afternoon brunch. I started with the specialty cocktail which was perfectly balanced and delicious. The Potato Latkes were delightfully crispy and served with a generous portion of corner beef and a perfectly complementary whole grain mustard hollandaise sauce. I would definitely order that again. They made a great cappuccino too.... More

We have been here before and I am not a fan but my niece really likes it so I go. We went last night and it was not busy but the service was really poor; slow and impersonal. The food was average and the wine was good. I find that they over salt much of the food. Just not a... More

We visited Temple Bar for the first time since they remodeled. The restaurant was quieter and more enjoyable than we used to find it. We could actually talk to our table guests since the music was low. The lively, modern ambiance was still the same and the food was good. The prices and menu seem more reasonable. I had the... More

We stopped by the Temple Bar today for brunch. We were meeting our niece and her family who attend college in the area. The staff was very friendly and the place seemed to have a nice ambiance. The brunch menu was pretty limited. My wife ordered a pastrami reuben sandwich and it was a lot fattier than the typical corned beef... More

Temple Bar reopened only recently after having been closed for several months due to a fire. The owners advertised changes to the menu and my husband and I were eager to try it out. We were so pleased with our entire experience. The restaurant looks very pretty inside, with a buzz but not a tremendous amount of noise. The additions... More

The Temple Bar was taken from the Temple Bar in Dublin, and it is really fun with great food. The best, most unusual pizza I had ever had. YUM! Every dish that was had by our party was superb! Atmosphere great as well as service. Within walking distance of our inn...The Mary Prentiss Inn and Harvard University.
