There's a Tatte Cafe/Bakery in Kendall Square and one a few miles away on Broadway, closer to where I live. The baked goods and coffee are always fresh and the staff are sweet and helpful. I like the quasi-eruo atmosphere- the handmade quality of the baked goods, the music (usually quirky and easy to listen to) and I've always enjoyed... More

My family had a nice Saturday brunch. I was impressed with their food, but not with their coffee. We enjoy Mediterranean food in general, so we liked the Tatte breakfast and the Shakshuka. The place has a nice patio area to sit in, but it is always very full, and people are hovering, waiting for a spot. No one seemed... More

Great bakery & coffee as well as salads and sandwiches. However, it is very costly and the lines are long in Kendall Square because there really aren't any places nearby that sell these types of baked goods. I work upstairs so I go for a good cup of coffee and croissant or nut boxes.

We stumbled upon Tatte when we were on our way to a different breakfast place it looked so cute that we abandoned our original plans and went inside. And we were so happy that we did. We tried two different breakfast dishes, coffee and a couple pastries for the road. We loved everything we ordered, but the shakshuka definitely stole... More

This is one of the best bakeries I've ever visited (and I've visited a lot all over the world). Delicious pastries and other baked goods. I also had a salad, which was very nice, too and some homemade lemonade, which was very refreshing. Love this place and will definitely be back! Pistachio croissants ... hmmmm.

I ordered the white hot chocolate and it was the best I have ever tasted, EVER. It has real choc chunks in it. Not the cheapest place to grab a hot drink but the price is fair for the quality. I definitely recommend.

We had two late breakfast/brunch during our weekend stay in Boston. Since we stayed at Marlowe Hotel it was only a 5-min walk and convenient. The hotel receptionist recommended this place for us and sure enough the food, both hot-served plates and pastries, was really good..the coffee was also nice, but overall rather on the costly side. The place was... More

If you are looking for a cheap treat to satisfy your sweet tooth, head to the nearest Dunkin Donuts! However, if you really appreciate finer ingredients and VERY good baking, this is the place for you. It is NOT cheap! But once you bite into one of their tarts, you will be transformed to a happy place that you will... More

Nice bakery, pricey but they have a high cost of doing business here. The almond croissant i just had was buttery, warm, oozy with buttery almond awesomeness instead of stuffed with a cold chunk of marzipan like paste that I often find in other almond croissants. It is also at least 1 1/2 times the size of a "regular" croissant!... More
