Excellent pastries

I work really close to Tatte so I come here a lot. It is a little pricey but the pastries are amazing. The chocolate rose is my favorite. The coffee is pretty good but the pastries are the real reason to go! Their bread and butter for breakfast is delicious. I love their jam. Their cheesecake is... read more

Delicious poached eggs, baked goods, and coffee. Everything made to perfection. I loved the coffee cake and my husband loved the north african specialty.

A cancelled meeting gave me an hour to kill in Kendall Square. I treated myself to breakfast at Tatte...a croque madame with a latte followed by a raspberry creme box. So incredibly good...that only one day later, I want another one. Perfectly cooked egg topic a ham and gruyere sandwich on the lightest bread topped with mornay sauce. Balance the... More

From the outside this is an unassuming place. Indeed we thought it was a bakery shop and not a restaurant. Once inside you understand that they serve an interesting variety of breakfasts as well as an array of sandwich lunches. We had a very good breakfast. It was a good value. A "bonus" was the friendly and helpful staff who... More

Short and sweet, just go! Very fresh breakfast options. We ordered Shakshuka and a fattoush salad and if you have no idea what those items are you need to! The pastries are out of site. This is like a privately owned Au Bon Pain restaurant. You order at the front and they bring the food to you. Fun experience!

My husband & I had breakfast here one morning while in Cambridge. Yum. We had two Americano's and they were prepared perfectly, I mean, you could just sit and completely enjoy every single sip of this coffee. We then ordered breakfast and it was HUGE and delicious! The price was amazing. The restaurant is counter service and the seating is... More

The hazelnut praline pastry and goat cheese with spinach tart were both excellent. The espresso machine had 'exploded' so I had a solid cup of brewed coffee instead. The entire bakery case is tempting, and they have many items packaged to go. Very high quality pastries make this worth a return visit.

One of my favorite places for a high quality breakfast sandwich. I had eggs and bacon on sourdough and it was amazing (a little messy if you're not careful). If you are with 2 people you may consider splitting one as it was quite a lot of food. I went back 2 days in a row even though it was... More

have eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. They make everything here from the bread to cookies to the salads and it is always hard to choose. The front counter is drool worthy. Many times there is a line but it moves quick and they do need more seating but is is delicious!

Dropped in here whilst walking the Black Heritage Trail. Cold outside but great food and coffee awaited inside. Poised on corner of Charles and Mt Vernon streets. Drop in , you will be pleased you did.
