Great baked goods

Staff are nice, and they have very delicious baked goods! I have tried awesome muffin: I do not know the name of it, but with full of good stuff--apples, raisins, coconuts, millet and such. And tried granola bar, it was not like a regular granola bar but more soft and nutty and fruity. Sticky bun... read more

It's no accident that this place is ALWAYS busy. Great, real food that includes veggie and whole-grain options, as well as some seasonal and herby choices; crazy-yummy baked goods; and general good humor on the part of service staff. Can be tough to find a seat anywhere near meal hours, but worth the wait.

Initially my niece found the Flour Bakery by chance and later I realised I'd written it down as one of the places to visit in Boston from reviews here. Because of that and our first excellent experience, we went twice in the week we were there and absolutely loved the food both times. It's freshly made, with healthy and often... More

Let me start with the bad news. The food is a bit pricey, but for the most part, it is well worth it. The food is just so well done. Everything from the cookies, to the pastries, to the little pizzas, quiches, soups, salads, you name it. All creatively done. I rarely would recommend that a visitor to the Boston... More

Once again we had an amazing lunch at Flour on Saturday. The line is always long but always worth the wait. I'd almost sit outside in the snow to eat one of Flour's roast beef sandwiches or drink one of their lattes. This place has the best bread. The freshest salads. The nicest staff. When we visit our daughter who... More

always go here n there is always a line. The food from baked goods to sandwiches is awesome but takes a bit to get your food and the place is loud. They need a bigger location as all their life cations are always packed. Love the food but hate the waits

Flour does great baked goods. I hear their sandwiches are good too, but I refuse to pay $8.50 for something I can make with zero effort in 5 mins at home. Their coffee (I've mainly had cappuccino) is drinkable, but not great. The cafe is ridiculously busy, basically always, and I tend to avoid it because you can never get... More

If you are passing through Cambridge to visit MIT or Harvard, or simply walking down Mass Ave. towards Central Square stop in here and get something. Food is great - staff is friendly and helpful and they have great coffee as well. The owner is known for her cinnamon buns, so get one of those!

From all the hype, I was expecting phenomenal, but it was just ok. I had a coffee and a heated sticky bun which were better than Dunkies or Starbucks but not the wonder that I was expecting
