This place makes truly good food, the kind of food that pleases the soul and palate. The sandwiches coupled with the super tasty tomato soup, oh so good. The pastries are satisfying for the most part. I like this raspberry crumble bar that they make, worth checking out. The chalkboard specials are gobbled up pretty quickly so don't wait until... More

Reasonable prices, great selection of pastries and sandwiches, dine in or out or outside. Was an easy walk from my hotel (Le Meridien). Recommended!

Went here on Independence Day, as nowhere else was open. Friend had granola with warm, going off, milk that had tasted like it had been left out since the day before. I have the breakfast sandwich, which was tasty but really was an ill conceived messy slop, that tool 20 mims to prepare. Coffee was made in a rush and... More

Came here for lunch during boston marathon weekend. Eventhough it was packed service was still good. Sandwich and pastry made me come back again the next day it was so good. I even bought the cookbook I liked it so much.

All I wanted was a plain salad. After waiting close to 10 minutes, I asked when I could get it. Was told another 20 minutes. Cancelled order as I feld this was unreasonable.

Stopped here for breakfast while on a business trip. My co-worker and I each had the famous sticky bun. Super fresh and tasty. Surprisingly not as sweet as you think it would be. My co-worker also indulged in a sugar brioche. I'll come again the next time I'm in Boston!
