Flour is a great place to enjoy la casual lunch - be aware that you stand on line to order. Quick easy service - the large staff make your sandwich or salad to order. The menu is handwritten in chalk on chalk boards. Be sure to check specials listed on the pillar in center. Their sandwiches can't be beat. Flavorful,... More

Great food, great drinks. Always busy - expect queues all day. The shortest I had to wait on the tree occasions I visited was about 7 minutes. Competition for seating is high. My recommendation to the establishment is to try to streamline your queuing system so that people do not have to wait for long.

I had a breakfast sandwich and coffee on Thanksgiving weekend at Flour on Mass Ave in Cambridge - my first time there - and I pledged that next time I go, I will save room for a muffin, cream-filled doughnut or sticky bun. The assortment of baked goods in their case is remarkable and all looked absolutely delicious! Maybe some... More

If only the place weren't so packed all. the. time. But I am not surprised it is. Flour Bakery serves one of the best breads, pastries, and sandwiches I have ever tried, and I've made it a goal to try everything on their menu before I graduate. Having gone countless times, I do have some favorites. I highly recommend their... More

Every Saturday, I take 91 year old Dad to Flour, 8am Saturdays, and we get, for here, the whole milk chai tea latte, a cup of light roast, an egg sandwich with bacon or ham, cut in half. Dad has a pain raisin roll, and we get four items to go. The great; Dad loves his oversized mug for here,... More

This place makes truly good food, the kind of food that pleases the soul and palate. The sandwiches coupled with the super tasty tomato soup, oh so good. The pastries are satisfying for the most part. I like this raspberry crumble bar that they make, worth checking out. The chalkboard specials are gobbled up pretty quickly so don't wait until...
