The lovely waitress said she doesn't take tips, just feedback, so... Not much to add to the other reviews, just wanted to bolster the cafe's reputation. Excellent food, service, value (and a pleasure to eat fresh, tasty food not served up in an oil slick, as is common elsewhere in Boston).
I love Clover's food and keep coming back. They're friendly and their menu is wonderful. I love the natural wooden table, spare decor, and outdoor seating in warm months. My only complaint is that the menu is very small. I'd like to see at least double the number of choices, although what they offer is very good.
Had a perfectly delightful breakfast today at Clover Food Labs. They had me at cheesy grits with poached egg. Served up oddly in a coffee cup, this was a creamy cheesy delight. I have lived in Cambridge for years and although this restaurant is very close to everything , I did not know of it until a friend asked me to meet her there for breakfast. I had granola, with milk and coffee made by the cup fresh for each customer.
There is no tipping allowed. EVERYTHING they use is recyclable -...

While it's good for vegetarians, it's not a favorite among meat eaters. I went in knowing it was a vegetarian place, and I was disappointed by the lack of options that they had.
We had lunch here and really enjoyed the food and the process. Met by a greeter who explained the food and the process. He took the order on his iPhone and very quickly I had my beer and the my chickpea sandwich. The place was clean and there was a good buzz going on. My only complaint was they were...

Ok, so I'm from Portland, up front, which means I really like food that is good for me. You are duly warned. I loved this place, especially the pickled stuff. Good hummus, good beans, good Middle Eastern staples. I highly recommend this place.
