This is the most unusual and fun place for breakfast. Done up in fifties and sixties regalia. Complete with life size Barbie in front of restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of stuff. The Mexican mashup was ordered with homemade chipotle cheddar toast. The dish has two eggs with spicy mashed potatoes chorizo sausage, and a chipotle dip that... More

We went to here on the strength of reviews on here and we were not disappointed. Its a really quirky place with really friendly staff who were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the menu... they do half portions for kids... which are still huge... The food was just delish !!!!!!

I happened upon the restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was full with a 30 minute waiting time. I sat at the bar, which is first-come-first-serve i.e. no waiting (for me). The coffee was hot and just the right strength with free refills. (Just coffee, no lattes or other speciality coffee options.) The menu had a good selection... More

Let me start by saying beware of entering here on a semi full stomach, you'll need all the room you can save up as the portions are HUGE. I started with a smoothie thinking a small safe bet... wrong, that sucker comes out in a large malt cup like they served them up in the 50's. All of us really... More

This place has some quirks but the FOOD...oh, the food!!!!! Huge portions of delicious food. My son had lunch...I had breakfast. Hint: the small ($6) pancake is more than enough for 2 people as a "side"...it is really big! They will also let you order off of a children's menu which the server told me about AFTER I commented on... More

Friendly Toast features unique breakfast vittles in a crazily kitchy and lively setting. Kids of all ages love this place. Be prepared for a long wait for weekend brunch.

Amazing menu, can’t wait to come back and try more. Bit of a wait as we didn’t get there before 10am (recommended for weekends), but was not too bad. There is a small waiting area and most people wait outside on a busy/nice day. They don’t really check if you’re there, just yell a name out the door and then... More

Breakfast all day, how can you beat that? They have a nicely varied menu, some quirky items, and all the standards. Not necessarily "diet" friendly but then again you don't go here for that...

This is a very vibrant place and you need to get here early on a Sunday morning or you will wait. But, the wait will be worth it. The food is excellent from the omelets to the french toast. The wait staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the whole atmosphere of the 50's kitchen with the formica tables... More

This is a popular restaurant so we had to wait. Our kids loved their pancakes but everything else was ok at best. This was a surprise as we loved this place. Service was awful. We had to wait for everything and while the place was busy the service was sub par. I won't go back nor will I recommend this... More
