Lobster Roll Rave

On my last day in Cambridge I popped into Tory Row for lunch. I sat outside so I could do one of my favorite travel past times, people watch. I ordered the lobster roll sandwich and a glass of sauvignon blanc. It was delicious. Sitting outside was perfect since I was eating solo. Conversation with... read more

even just American history. The street is a showcase for revolutionary era homes of prosperous colonists. Well preserved, even if most of the folks fled the revolution. Ya know --Tories! Then the Greek revival, victorians of all styles. Try to get a good guide book to the street or a tour if this kind of thing interests you. Otherwise, find... More

One might overlook this place as a bland Harvard Square joint for tourists. My hotel was a few blocks away. This is actually the first restaurant I've frequented thrice in the same day. First, for a delicious artichoke flatbread lunch; later, I suggested it for an after-work drink with friends; finally, I came back for a snack and nightcap. Said... More

Cozy night at Tory Row. Food and wine were excellent. An interesting Chardonnay and a delicious Quinoa and black bean salad with grilled shrimp, but the dessert was the show stopper. It was THE BEST brownie I have ever eaten. And I am a baker! Go to Tory Row for the evening for a lovely experience or at least go... More

We were looking for a nice place to have a relaxing lunch. My husband found Tory Row on Around me and it had very good reviews. While there was not really anything wrong with the place, and the service was fine, I wouldn't consider it a "nice" place. Functional comes more to mind. The vibe was industrial with community like... More

Had a nice breakfast here and had great service. Table seating outside and lovely sunny weather - chilled and relaxing.

This was our first meal in Boston after a transatlantic flight. The food was good but what a disappointment was the wine! We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio and were somewhat surprised when it arrived in a carafe. I have to say it tasted very watery but it wasn't until a little bit later into our holiday when we'd... I was in town for a workshop, and two of my classmates and I had an early dinner here. Because it was our first time here, we didn't realize that we had to wait to be seated (no signs, no one waiting to seat us) and were scolded by an employee for taking menus and trying to seat ourselves. Our... More

The food was very good, but the seating is not comfortable. They have an interesting brunch menu with breakfast items, flat breads, burgers, salads, sandwiches, etc. The french toast and the flat breads were delicious. The location is also great, right in Harvard Square.
