Ten Tables on Craigie Circle provides the Cambridge (or more carnivorous) version of this local dining experience (versus the more seafood-oriented location in Jamaica Plain). I had the Native Baby Arugula salad and Rosie's Organic Chicken - both were excellent. The fresh blueberries on the salad tasted like they just came from the farm that day. The wine list was... This restaurant is located in the basement of a Cambridge residence in a very lovely neighborhood. Right away as you enter you get that warm and yummy feeling which continues as you peruse the menu of a good assortment of dishes using fresh local ingredients. On our visit the items that particularly stood out were the homemade Cavatelli pasta with... More

Really enjoyed our meal at Ten Tables. Service was excellent. The restaurant atmosphere was quiet and very comfortable. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The only drawback was we did not enjoy the desserts. The wine we had was excellent and not expensive.

We were one of the first groups in the restaurant (a 6 PM reservation). We really wanted a later time but it was either 6 or after 9. It appears they only release a limited number of seats to Open Table because the place was never more than half full the entire time we were there. Ten Tables is in... More

The food at Ten Tables is super. It all was very fresh and had interesting compositions. The homemade pasta was especially tasty as were all the vegis. It's a bit in a hide-away area but a 10 minute walk from the Harvard Sq stop. The staff is super friendly and attentive and I would highly recommend this tucked-away gem.

The bartender was a hoot while I was waiting for my wife. The beer selection was great with many craft beers on hand. Our food was perfectly done and we enjoyed the ambiance of the location - which is small but as we found out - larger than their other location which has ten tables :-) Dessert was a treat... More

I wasn't expecting much when decided to go there. It was a Sunday night and we arrived in a hidden place among buildings. Inside, it was cozy and warm. We ordered the tasting menu and a wonderful wine from Provence - Fondreche Nadal. The menu was simple but delicious. The dessert was incredibly amazing, a sweet potato cake with home... More

the salmon dish was served with raw potatoes last night. it had to be sent back and when returned to us, came in a big bowl that seemed like what had been used to throw the food back into the microwave to cook it further. Not very nice for a meal that cost over $300 for 6 of us.

I wrote a very "ho-hum" review of ten tables when I first ate there the week it opened many years ago. Something good has happened in the kitchen since and the food was excellent, particularly the chicken cooked under a brick. It's reasonable, has a good wine list, and the service is knowledgeable. I am glad to be back.
