We were one of the first groups in the restaurant (a 6 PM reservation). We really wanted a later time but it was either 6 or after 9. It appears they only release a limited number of seats to Open Table because the place was never more than half full the entire time we were there. Ten Tables is in... More

The food at Ten Tables is super. It all was very fresh and had interesting compositions. The homemade pasta was especially tasty as were all the vegis. It's a bit in a hide-away area but a 10 minute walk from the Harvard Sq stop. The staff is super friendly and attentive and I would highly recommend this tucked-away gem.

The bartender was a hoot while I was waiting for my wife. The beer selection was great with many craft beers on hand. Our food was perfectly done and we enjoyed the ambiance of the location - which is small but as we found out - larger than their other location which has ten tables :-) Dessert was a treat... More

I wasn't expecting much when decided to go there. It was a Sunday night and we arrived in a hidden place among buildings. Inside, it was cozy and warm. We ordered the tasting menu and a wonderful wine from Provence - Fondreche Nadal. The menu was simple but delicious. The dessert was incredibly amazing, a sweet potato cake with home... More

the salmon dish was served with raw potatoes last night. it had to be sent back and when returned to us, came in a big bowl that seemed like what had been used to throw the food back into the microwave to cook it further. Not very nice for a meal that cost over $300 for 6 of us.

I wrote a very "ho-hum" review of ten tables when I first ate there the week it opened many years ago. Something good has happened in the kitchen since and the food was excellent, particularly the chicken cooked under a brick. It's reasonable, has a good wine list, and the service is knowledgeable. I am glad to be back.

Although Ten tables is a little bit off the beaten path it's well worth the trip. Truly a hidden gem. Their amazing service and juicy steak frittes will have me going back again and again. I haven't tried the tasting menu yet but from what I saw going to other tables, I doubt I'll have any complaints. Sorry if my... More

Very enjoyable dinner. The good: *Sunday Supper prix fixe of 3 courses for $38 (plus $5 supplement for the steak frites) *The ambiance -- love the rustic tables, the cool subterranean feel, the lighting, and not noisy so happily able to converse with friends *The goat cheesecake (though I would have liked more actual huckleberrieds and not just a syrup... We made reservations, and were seated upon our arrival. My husband is a vegetarian, and he had the vegetarian tasting menu which was delicious. I had the regular tasting menu, which they can fine tune, and I didn't want any red meat. The chef focused on seafood and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back again!
