Description: The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine. We...
The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine. We also feature strong VEGETARIAN and GLUTEN-FREE menus! With so much depth and breadth to our menus, both exotic and familiar, we have something for just about everyone. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia’s Indian ancestry. Our Cambodian menu features both traditional Cambodian dishes and originals created by our Chef/Owners Longteine and Nadsa de Monteiro, a Cambodian mother-daughter team born and raised in Phnom Penh. Why French too? Cambodia was a French colony for a century, ending in the 1950s. Consequently, our chef-owners were French-educated and grew up speaking French and enjoying French cuisine too. In other words, our Cambodian-and-French theme is an authentic reflection of…us!

Wonderful flavors and good service

Our family all enjoyed the flavors of the Elephant Walk. We have differing restrictions like Gluten Free and Vegan and they had options for all of us. I loved the Avocado soup. It was fresh tasting and just plain good! Everything else was tasty as well.

I have been in love with this restaurant since my grad student days 25 years ago. For food taste and quality, I think it is one of the best Asian restaurants in the country. Even my fickle son enjoys the food.

First of all the prices on the menu at the restaurant are twice higher than the prices on their posted menu on their website. Dishonest and deceptive. Secondly if you go with a Groupon voucher be careful than you can't use more than one voucher "per group", this on contrary what's is mentioned in Groupon voucher namely "per person". We... More

I had the beef bourgignon while others had the loc lac, a fish dish, and a duck a l'orange special that also featured lobster ravioli. All superbly prepared. I had an ice cream crepe dessert special that was outstanding. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are extremely reasonable for the area, and the restuarant was doing a fairly brisk business... You get what you paid for - it isn't cheap but worth the money you spend. The Elephant Walk has a lovely and warm decoration, the tasty food is arranged carefully on the plates and the service people are always nice and professional. And most important: they just know about the fusion of Asian and European ktichens.

Went here for lunch with a friend. Tasty food, helpful service. I had the Rouleaux and Soupe Phno-Penh, both delicious. Pleasant restaurant. Parking was easy, lot in back.

The food was great, the staff was great, and the selection was great. We made a reservation but arrived 45 minutes early and we were seated right away. This was a Tuesday night and it did get a little crowded around 7:30 or 8:00 pm.

Whether you're into steak and potatoes or looking for a bit of a culinary adventure, this place has you covered. It's hard to go wrong with French and Cambodian cuisines under one roof. Be ready to spend a bit, but know that it's worth it.

Stopped in late-ish on a weeknight. Was quiet. The decor is pretty cool and fun (but not overbearing). The vegetable curry I had was delicious; others thought their food was just ok.

Service here is just awful. We used to walk to our branch of The Elephant Walk in Brookline on Beacon Street (no longer there) and have happy memories of the food and service. This branch is a disaster. Several waitresses were rude. One barked at my daughter to move her pocket book from the floor. It was not what she... More
