Everything inconceivably tastes more beautiful than it looks. Start with desert because you can. Or if you have discipline then save room for it. The flavored are unique. Staff kind and helpful. Food great beyond description. Line moves fast and it is helpful to see what everyone else is eating and ordering. The pastries are Devine.

My husband and I were visiting my son in Boston and had seen Sofra on the Unique Sweets tv show. I bought a selection of uniquely flavored pastries...the pistachio poptart was my favorite; orange blossom morning bun, blackberry/lavender coffee cake, persian spice doughnut, and several others. Service was quick, selections were great, staff friendly...great way to start the day, as... More

We'd been here once before and after a stroll through nearby Mount Auburn Cemetery Sofra is just the place to have a delicious lunch. It's chaotic to be sure and the seating can be interesting to say the least. But it's worth the wait and patience. Even if you don't want lunch you have to try one of their incredible... More

A friend in Philadelphia, of Lebanese decent, recommended we stop there when traveling to Boston to visit family. Wow! Try it, you'll like it.

We had the grape leaves, assorted hummus, chicken shawarma and falafel. The beet tzatziki and the whipped feta are delicious. The eggplant was a little less flavorful and thin in texture. The crackers are nicely seasoned as they seem to make them on premise which is great. Lots of thought put into their food, I liked that. The only downfall... More

Warning!!....sip it slowly don't chug like I just did, my brain is working faster than my fingers can type, hands are shaking, leg is bouncing under my desk . Oh no the coffee sweats. So heed my warning or if you need to be UP this the cure. I had a spinach tart with feta, it's a small tasty treat... More

I often go there for a pastry and latte or maybe a late lunch or breakfast. If it is prime time, the seating is limited. Thats why I go after hours. I have often ordered something not even knowing what I would get, but I have never been disappointed. The staff is very welcoming and helpful in explaining the menu.... More

The pastries and coffee are excellent and the place is pleasant. There are many enticing packaged foods and spices but the prices are awfully high!

I have been talking about visiting Sofra for some time. Finally got around to it and... it was good. I had the orange blossom lemonade and orange blossom glaze morning bun. While the lemonade was good it tasted like regular lemonade. The morning bun was delicious and the orange blossom glaze was perfect. Great atmosphere but very small. Definitely worth... More

Sofra has a great location and interesting food - turkish, lebanese, greek. It also sells fresh eggs so I buy my eggs here a couple of times a week. Also can recommend the pastries, the mezzo, the daily soups and specials, and the dark cherry drink. A great place for take-out though the atmosphere is nice when it's not too... More
