Authentic Irish Pub in Cambridge

Was in town for business for a couple of days and went here early evening on March 7th. This place is near Inman Square and delivers the Irish pub experience as good as any I've experienced in the U.S. When we walked in, we were slammed with the crowd. The place is small and jam packed, but we... read more

Keep coming back to the Druid. Super pub - happy atmosphere . Fish and chips and shepherd's pie both outstanding. Hot tea with Jack Daniels on this freezing day didn't hurt either. Great bartender Danny Mcgann showed us a great time. Highly recommended

Came here with my girlfriend after getting back in to the city after a day of skiing. Got the shepherd's pie and a smithwick's, which were both fantastic. Has a great proper pub feel to it too.

Another find via trip adviser as I was on a business trip looking for good food with local flavor, The Druid was perfect. It is small and appears frequently packed but we had no problem getting a table. The food was certainly above average and the service was very good but, their ability to poor a proper pint is exceptional.... More

The Druid is a great find if you're looking for a small pub to enjoy a few pints and some really decent grub. Plus, with music sessions on Tuesday nights and Saturday afternoons, it's also a great place to go to hear some real Irish music. I loved that it was a low-key, simple place without any of that phoney,... More

This is a very busy pub serving good food and great beers. The turnaround is prompt so don't be put off if it's heaving however this isn't a place to linger for hours over your food, you'll be asked to vacate your seat if you've finished and people are waiting. There was live Irish music when we were there. The... More

We came here for a quick lunch on Labor Day. Most authentic English/Irish Pub I've seen. Fabulous Fish & Chips! The hamburgers and beefsteak tomato salad were delicious. One friendly and extremely efficient waitress who made the experience even more enjoyable. Place was PACKED but they made room for us in a table for 2 - squishing the 4 of... More

This was our third visit here. The food, especially the beef stew and fish and chips, were terrific. This is also a good drinking bar as one would expect. But the main reason for my very positive review is the incredibly friendly service. My family were treated like regular customers even though we live hours away. This is a truly... More

Found this place in Cambridge on a recent business trip and liked it. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. Real Irish behind the bar. Refreshing. They say the Tuesday night music is really good. Give it a try
