But I guess on a Sunday midday, I shouldn't be surprised that the bartender's hungover to the b'jesus. I enjoyed myself anyway.

The Druid is a small, lively pub. We went with a group which included an Irishman seems to be a main fixture at this establishment. Sunday at noon, before March 17th, day of the big parade and marathon..it was jammed pack. We quickly got our drinks and didn't have to wait too long for a table to become available considering... Best fish and chips and proper Irish sausages. What more could you ask for besides the best service from a group of Irish lads.

Oh my goodnessss! What an ammmaaaaaazzzinnggggg pub! Best Sunday brunch I've ever had. Get the oatmeal with Irish cream. Also they know how to do tea properly. I asked for hot tea and the waiter actually brought milk to go with it! Best meal I've had in all of Boston.

Authentic local pub experience from the glow of the lights beckoning through the falling snow, to the vibrancy of a packed room filled with people enjoying themselves. The staff was great . . . although my husband and I were staring that "deer in the headlights" query when faced with no place to sit, a staff member squeezed through the... More

An awesome Irish bar with a great atmosphere. Sometimes they have Irish violinists or bands but it's always hopping. And they have THE BEST fish and chips I have ever had. Also a great beer selection. The prices are all very reasonable. You can easily go here for under a $20 meal.

This pub is a lot of fun. Our first stop after landing in Cambridge, we saddled up to the bar and ordered a pint of Guinness and tried a couple of other beers on tap. The bartender, Mike, was a lot of fun and attentive. We liked the place so much, we stopped back on Saturday night. The place was... More

After reading reviews figured we couldn't go wrong. We arrived and quickly found a table, although there weren't that many so we felt lucky on a saturday night! Our waitress seemed burnt out, not friendly to out of towners and fed up with colege students. She varied between nice, just tolerating us and hating us I think- we'd never been... More

This is a small place, with great food and great drinks! The staff is from the old country, beer is cold and everyone knew everyone. It is a locals place, that makes you feel like one of the family. It reminded me of an old European pub. This is a must go!

We first stopped in for a beer and came back the next day for lunch because of what we saw being served. Everything looked good but I ended up with the fish and chips, which were tasty and light. My partner has Shepherds Pie, which was undoubtedly the best dish of the three. Flavorful and rich chunks of lamb. Her... More
