Nice Irish Pub

Enjoyed a great dinner here recently. Cozy pub. Excellent beer selection. Shepard's Pie was very tasty. Would definitely return.

The pub is good for drinks! Not that well decorated or friendly. Staff did not feel like they wanted to work and service was average. Nothing like other Irish pubs I have been to. For example: The Thirsty Scholar in Beacon St near Inman Square is ten times nicer; staff is friendlier and food is great! Between the two I... More

Irish pub in Boston. Tables, chairs, and bench seating. Waiter service good menu choice. I had Irish sausage baked beans and mashed potatoes which sounds pretty ordinary but it was delicious . Tasty sausage and lovely creamy potato and scallion mixed. TV showing English live soccer. My only disappointment was no puddings for dessert (which is my favourite part of... More

We were visiting our son at Harvard and wanted to focus more on Cambridge on this trip instead of Boston. This sounded great from the reviews and it did not dissappoint. Friendly staff, live Celtic music, and great food. The fish and chips, baked cod were excellant. I tried Down East cider and it's my new favorite. Reasonably priced for... More

We were greeted by friendly staff. The Irish musicians were playing at the front table. What a treat. Fish and Chips served in newspaper....how cool. (waxed paper separator) Look forward to our return.

Fantastic place to eat, drink, play. Live, traditional Irish music. The BEST fish n chips. The lamb shepherd's pie was awesome. Plus beer and friendly people. Make it stop on your next trip!

I have been there twice in the last month. The food Is hearty, very good and plentiful. The menu is a little eclectic for an irish pub but there are certainly plenty of traditional irish pub specialties. Plenty of beer on tap and bar-like, but the waiters are good and the food comes up pretty quickly. I have HAD THE... More

I've been to the Druid many times - both to have a pint and dinner. The drinks are great. There's a solid selection of Irish and domestic craft beers, including mainstays like Smithwick's and Sam Adams. They pour the best pint of Guinness I've had in Boston. The food is delicious. In particular, I love the bangers & mash, ribeye... More

We have visited The Druid often with family, friends and acquaintances. .The Druid is family friendly, and a respite for solos. The food is extraordinary, the staff welcoming and efficient, and the owner is generous to a fault. Try a fish sandwich, and a pint. Stay for good craic and the music.
