Happy hour for lunch

We wanted a light lunch and had a drink in this place on a Saturday noon. "Bruschetta" and "tagliere di salumi e formaggi": very good and plentiful. Great price and friendly staff. Local small, but cozy. Recommended!

Ate here on our 1st night in town. Anti pasta was average but missing components that other diners had. Pork loin in a gloopy sauce Parpadelle/chocolate/boar was overly salted by a long way. €2 for tap water sold as mineral water, not gassed as requested. All the other meals in town have been much better.

Travelled to Bracciano on a whim to escape a rainy, Roman day. Our noses led us to this place. Literally, we smelled it and followed the amazing aroma. The owner was able to seat us even though we didn't have reservations for Saturday lunch. The meal was amazing and the bill was shockingly low. The wild boar with truffle polenta... More

I'm an English resident in Bracciano for two years and I have probably tried every restaurant in the town. Locanda Saminati is the best value, because you pay an amazingly low price for fantastic cuisine, lovingly prepared. The service is flawless and everyone is helpful and friendly. I eat there almost exclusively now when eating out and would recommend it... More

First there's a menu of the day for 10€ .It's a bargain for 2 courses and wine.An enlightened approach. Secondly the jovial cook/owners confessed they are great fans of Adriá and this shows in the perfection of the dishes. It's a quiet, homely setting, and next to the tables there are cookery books you can browse whilst you wait. If... More

Great little restaurant under the castle in bracciano's old town. We had a brilliiant wild boar stew on polenta and gnocchi with duck. Very delicious. Great service from what looked like the whole a family including a complimentary champagne when we sat down. We will be back!

How to define this place... a one man restaurant? The owner, studies the different seasonal ingredients to provide you everyday a new surprise. The owner (though sometimes helped by a friend of his) explains you what you are going to eat and where it comes from as he personally goes buying ingredients shop by shop. Great selection of vegetarian and... More
