best spot for a long lunch

This is a weekend favorite for us. The service is home-y and the food wonderful. The antipasti can be a bit overwhelming in terms of volume, but the food is always delicious. It's a great spot for a romantic dinner inside or lunch outside with a group. It is better to arrive early (early for... read more

They surely know their cheese and wine! Ask to visit their cellar - it is an experience in itself! Their olives were gorgeous

Amazing place in castle gandolfo. Lovely stuff and excellent excellent food. The antipasti are just never ending and refined. It's clear that the products used are of high quality and the place is cosy and traditional. The wine is pretty good too, the owner came over and recommended us the specialties of the day.

Really really impressed with this restaurant. Food is excellent - a joy! That you for giving us a requested cheese board of (only) pecorino cheese, which was superb!!!! Can't wait to eat here next time we are in Italy! Great welcome & staff are excellent. One of the highlights of this trip to Roma/Italia... See you soon & thanks for... More

This restaurant has rooms on both sides of the street, enchantingly connected by an underground cave. All rooms are filled with artistic/vintage objects and every room has a different feeling to it. The place is gorgeous and very original. The food, however, doesn't stand out. It is good but a bit overpriced for what it's offered. The antipasti were simple... More

We went there for valentines and the plates were too much, they were too many and vast, hard to finish all the courses, but the taste was good in most of them. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and you get the feeling of being on a tavern. The owners were all the time helping waiters and service was... More

It was a very quiet afternoon & we were the only guests (7). We just ordered antipasto to try. I lost count at 18 dishes they brought out for us. I honestly thought my stomach was going to explode. Dishes I had never heard of before were so amazing I have no words to describe. If you are ever in... More

With an amazing ambiance, exceptional wine cellar and fantastic food, Arte e Vino is one of our favourite hidden discoveries. We opted for a selection of fifteen antipasti and they were all delicious. Ask them to take you through their ancient wine cellar, it is spectacular.

We were the first to arrive, at 7pm. They were gracious and welcoming. Menu is slightly different than typical Roman cuisine, but after a few days there we were ready for a change. Ambiance is loaded with intriguing antiques and other unique objects. There are at least 4 different small dining rooms. Their "house" white wine was their own label... More
