After reading all these reviews this didn't sound alike a bad place - and it was very good. The place was full of locals eating (appeared to be a lot of native Americans eating here so that's why I am saying locals), well that's always a good sign. I had the BEST Indian Taco I think I have ever had,... More

After touring the Little Big Horn Battlefield we decided to stop at the Trading Post for a look around. The gift shop was loaded with Native American art and crafts as well as many shelves of books about battleground and about native Americans in general. However, the Trading Post cafe was an unexpected delight. Clearly the locals love this cafe... More

Stopped at the Custer Battlefield Trading Post after visiting the Little Bighorn Battlefield just across the street. This is the type that you often see across from a tourist attraction that can be either really good or really bad. We found this place to be really good. One side of the establishment was a store of various tourist items. There... More

Glad we stopped, but once may be enough. We were here on September 13, 2014. Ordered their special of bean soup with fry bread. Fry bread was the thickest we've every had (that is NOT a good thing!) leaving the center of it doughy. Nice staff, very gracious. This is a large market place (tourism) with a restaurant. Kind of... On our way to Custer Battlefield we stopped for lunch at a place advertised on billboards along the way. The Custer Battlefield Trading Post & Cafe was just outside the entrance to the battlefield and had been advertising Indian Tacos. They were the best I have ever had. The fried bread that they make is available separately too and is... More

Buffalo burger was delicious with no added fat and less saturated fat than chicken breast. Substituted side salad for fries for 50 cents. Waiter was super friendly. Buffalo meat is expensive but healthy and great.

The Indian taco was delicious. The meat, vegetables and cheese were on top of a huge Indian fry bread. I could only eat half and took the rest home. Also, the cowboy soup was quite tasty and filling.

We were visiting the Little Bighorn National Monument and this place is on the way in/out. I was just looking around the souvenir shop (and enjoying the air conditioning since it was 100+ outside) when we decided to grab a bite to eat. We were pleasantly surprised at the carafe of ice water since we were dehydrated it was very... More

The Indian Tacos on fry bread were probably the best we've eaten and we've tried a number of various Indian stores, fairs, etc. Others in our party had other items which they enjoyed as well. The tacos were excellent. The service was very good with lots of friendly wait staff eager to accommodate our needs. The Trading Post aspect of... More

I'm glad I checked Trip Advisor before I suffered at a McDonalds or Subway in a nearby town. The Trading Post is across the street from the Little Bighorn Battle Ground. I sat myself at the closest table and was promptly brought a carafe of ice water. A nice, young Native American man took care of me very well. My... More
