I'm always a bit hesitant to try restaurants that are attached to a tourist attraction, like this is to the Blue Lagoon. But, I was awfully hungry and was craving lamb (which was on the menu) so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a chance after relaxing at the Blue Lagoon. We had the tasting menu after finding... You would think that one of the major attractions in Iceland would have an average kind of restaurant attached. We had booked a package which included the Blue Lagoon dip and a meal afterwards in the restaurant. We had guessed it would be perhaps a bit special, but we did not guess just how special the meal and the service... More

This offered good cuisine and service and was enjoyable. We utilized place as the Blue Lagoon Clinic Hotel, is actually just a B&B Hotel.

Our first meal in Iceland, within hours of landing and it was amazing. It set the bar for rest of our trip and I was not disappointed. Food in Iceland is incredible. I opted for the 3 course meal and while it was expensive, it was so worth it. Each course looked like I could have been sat in a... More

My daughter and I had a personal tour of the Blue Lagoon on Friday August 22nd. We spent the day at the Blue Lagoon. We had an amazing one on one tour with Heidi & after relaxing in the Blue Lagoon we decided to have dinner at the Lava restaurant. The restaurant is so pretty & we decided to have... More

This is, indeed, one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant, so thank you TripAdvisor for asking. Do yourself a favor and trust the prix-fixe pairings offered on the menu -- everything I had (from the fish-based menu) was immaculate, from the langoustine soup paired with the "wine of the week" (or the month) on the server's... We didn't have particularly high expectations as we knew Blue Lagoon is the biggest tourist attraction in the country. My husband used to work at a 2-michelin star restaurant in London for five years so it takes a lot to impress... but we were indeed impressed! Seafood was superb... my husband had a seafood salad starter with perfectly cooked scallops,... More

After a good hot bath at the blue lagoon. We went to Lava for dinner. Price is definitely expensive and it is a michelin graded restaurant if I am not mistaken. So i have high expectations for a michelin graded restaurant. The knowledge of the waiter Olivier is not good enough for lava. When he was asked to recommend, all... More
