had a Salad, and the fish soup with a lovely glass of red wine after my day at the Blue Lagoon. very good food, felt healthy and fresh. the vieing gallery at the top of this restraunt has great views of the Lagoon.

The sundried tomato bread was excellent! The dessert was also to die for, as well as the catfish, which was the catch of the day. Polite and courteous service in a beautiful scenery.

Good quality food, but quite expensive. The staff that served us were sadly unfriendly and sullen and looked like they would rather not be there. I had an amazing three course meal that was bought as a spa experience. The food was great, far better then expected. The waitress that served us was lovely and helped me along with my Icelandic. We could even eat in our robes, which was relaxing and a great way to break up the day.

Had a great time at the Blue Lagoon but were disappointed when we visited the lava restaurant for lunch. Very small portions and seafood soup was pretty watery, not like a proper chowder with good meaty fish bits. Salad was similar and desert was tasty but also small. Fabulous food with views over the lagoon. If you're going to the Blue Lagoon then make sure you include lunch at Lava, y9ou won't be disappointed. It also represents excellent value instead of just paying for the Lagoon entrance.

We had lunch at Lava before our "Exclusive Experience" at the Blue Lagoon. It was a nice meal and our service was very very good.
