For the price, you really don't get a lot of food. The food served was Luke warm and didn't taste great. I had the mussels to start and the chicken for the main. Both unfortunately were mediocre and I left most of it. There was no atmosphere, very cold and bland looking room, it was so eerily quiet even though... More

This is my second visit to this restaurant. The location is just awesome and the food terrific. This time I traveled with my daughter who is vegetarian. She asked the cook to fix her a plate of vegetables. And did he ever! I ordered Ling Cod which was delicious but I found myself picking food off of her plate as... More

Lunch at the Lava Restaurant was by far the best part of the Blue Lagoon experience for us. We entered the Lagoon for about an hour, ate lunch, and then went back into the Lagoon - you can wear your flip flops and bathrobe to the restaurant for lunch. I felt a little ridiculous eating in such a nice place... More

Tasty as you would expect - Included meal with premium lagoon entry. Sat in my robe looking out upon the lagoon. Very good food.

Decided to pay for the more expensive package at the Blue Lagoon that included lunch in the Lava restaurant. Walking into the restaurant in your dressing gown and slippers was a very surreal experience but one that both my girlfriend and I loved! The service was great, the food was great, the view of the lagoon from our table by... More

Our first stop in iceland was at the blue lagoon, and a meal voucher was included in our package. I did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! The dining area was beautiful with nice veiws of the lagoon. My friends and I each enjoyed a wonderful seafood dish, and a coffee creme brûlée! The service was a... More

After arriving in Iceland my friend and I thought it a good idea to go to the blue lagoon with the premium package that gave you a food voucher. We thought if we booked for 3 o clock if the weather allowed we'd be able to see sunset over the pool (sunset was 4). We arrived and were seated where... More

I ate at Lava on November 25 while visiting at the Blue Lagoon. It's expensive. Appetizers were $20 USD and small. Entrees were double that. If I did it again, I would eat at the cafe and go into town for a decent meal.

We ate here after enjoying the lagoon and we were not disappointed. We had an inclusive package and enjoyed a two course meal that was superbly presented and tasted fantastic ! One of the best meals we have enjoyed - the lamb was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. To sit in our robes whilst enjoying the fabulous... More
