Bentoh's is a pun on the Japanese "bento box,' a hot meal with rice served in a box. I really love his blackened salmon salad, his tempura rolls - all asian with a western touch. His place was Barack Obama's favorite when Obama was a state legislator in Springfield (pix of Obama on his wall). more

You may have to wait a bit on lunch rush, but only because so many people are lined up for the amazing food. Traditional Japanese with a Pacific Northwest influence brings an amazing and quite affordable menu to the downtown area. You can't go wrong at Bentoh's. more

Bentoh's offers good, fresh food in generous portions. Their salads are a bit hit, but their pad thai is not too shabby, either. I like that they offer fresh rolled sushi on some days. My favorite place for lunch. Their salmon is the best I have ever had. They make their homemade salad dressing everyday! Their food is fresh and great! Watch them make it right in front of you. Definitely try it out! more

Try the crab cake salad. FYI- Rumor has it that his is Barak O'Bama's favorite restaurant in town and orders the takeout whenever he's in Springfield. more
