This seems to be a must stop at each time I visit Springfield. I usually get the Ponyshoe (smaller version of the Horseshoe) but wasn't quite that hungry so I decided to try something different. I ended up getting a Reuben sandwich. I know pretty typical. And it was just an ordinary sandwich. Served its purpose but probably wouldn't order... More

I went here for lunch with a couple of customers and we all pigged out on the horseshoes. Not only are they huge, they are delicious. I think they said Man v Food was there, and I can see why. Huge portions of tastiness. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

My husband loves their horseshoes so we go there, however I am a grilled chicken kind of gal, and no matter if it is on a salad or a sandwich it is dry, dry dry. Wish they could figure out how to cook juicy and tender grilled chicken here.

decided to try D'arcy's Pint on our annual pilgramage to the state fair. Last year it was D'arcy's or Quakersteak & Lube. the later won out, but we were the real losers. U may have caught my review of QSL last year, not good!!! arrived a D'arcy's at 6:20 on sat 8/9, est 1 hr wait, went to the bar,... More

We made a pit stop between Milwuakee and Texas and this place had good bar food, but that's exactly all it is. The food tasted good, but the fries on the famous "horseshoe" looked like they came frozen. It is a massive portion size and loaded with empty calories. We ordered the pint size, but I asked the waitress what... More

If you are visiting Springfield, you have to eat here! The one of a kind "horseshoes"/ "ponyshoes" (smaller version) are available (toast on bottom, meat in middle, fries on top, with cheese drizzled though out)! Darcy's is know for these horseshoes and you won't be able to get one just like it anywhere else! Unfortunately, reservations are not available and... More

This place is Closed on Sunday! Drove over on Sunday August 3 after reading the great reviews and had to go to another place for dinner. Cannot say much about the restaurant. Wish I could. Tried a horseshoe sandwich at a different restaurant just to see what they were like. So if you want to eat at Darcy's do not... More

We stopped here for a late dinner on the way to St Louis because they stay open until 10 on a Tuesday night. We ordered a Harp, the nachos, and the southwest chicken club. Everything was brought quickly and tasted great. The bread was a little overly greasy on the sandwich, but the jalapeño cornbread they used was really good.... More

Horseshoes are traditional to Springfield, and D'Arcy's makes the best! As a result, the restaurant is often very busy and the wait times can be long. Many other menu items are good, too. The beer selection is good, and it is served cold. For fastest horseshoe craving satisfaction, we will often call in and order shoes to go with the... More
