Often restaurants in hotels are not very good, as they feel that they have a captive audience. We ate breakfast at Lindsay's and found it to be a quiet place with a nice ambiance. One of us had the breakfast buffet which was only $12.00, slightly more than most breakfast entrees. The buffet had a fair amount of selections and... More

Stopped in for breakfast on our last morning in town. Restaurant was half empty. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. We only saw our waitress once. Ordered the buffet as advised by the hostess because the kitchen staff was backed up. Meal was half over by the time we got our coffee. Never offered refills. Their policy is that your... More

While looking for a place to eat breakfast we could not find anything locally so we ended up at Lindsay's in the hotel. The choices were limited. What we did have was good but not great. Typical hotel restaurant.

A wide variety of choices; everything I opted for was great quality! Super staff that made you feel like you were dining with family. Great choice of local places but I opted for the quality of this place on several times.

While in Springfield, I had dinner at Lindsay's Restaurant located in the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel. To my surprise the food, service, and ambiance were all better than I expected. I highly recommend their strip steak!! If ever In Springfield again, I would go back to Lindsay's.

After having a terrible experience across the street at Nick and Nino's where our waiter called us names and spilled butter on my girlfriends dress, we walked across the street to Lindsay's. Actually we sat in the Globe Tavern. We were greeted by Taylor. we told him of our experience and he immediately offered my girlfriend tonic and water to... More
