After my July 9th, 2011 Bernie and Betty’s Pizza atrocious experience (read my July 9th 2011 review); Gabatoni’s is the place to go for great tasting pizza and good service. The atmosphere needs to be updated as fake wood paneling went out in the 70’s. Look past the out-dated décor and enjoy Springfield finest pizza. They have a pizza named... More

Some of the best pizza and ravs (in my opinion) that Springfield has to offer, the price brings my review down to 4 stars since it has been increasing more than other pizza joints over the years, but the recent remodel and consistent food makes this a decent stop on any trip.

The food is excellent. My most recent visit included nacho appetizer and a 7 topping pizza at a fair price... Dinner for 3 for $28. Why I love the food??? Because it is home made deliciousness. There is that something special about a mom and pop restaurant that doesn't resort to cheap quick ingredients. However, while I was there the... More

This place has not changed one iota since it opened,I would wager. Forget that and get into the pizza!!! Delicious thin crust with excellent sausage Don't miss the salad with blue cheese dressing-order it creamy and dry-the dry being crumbled blue cheese to add on top They never heard of a microbrew here so go with the Bud This is... Been going to gabatonis forever. This time may he my last. Service was awful. Very slow. We were seated in a dark corner and the food was average at best. Gone were the great thin crust pizza and poor boy sandwiches. I want to give this place a good rating, but can't because the service was so bad.

They have remodeled and there is no longer a step up area in the dining room. The bar area is very nice loaded with many after work clientele. The pizza is very good. The waitresses are a bit ancient and aren't quite as friendly as they should be. All in all, a good restaurant/bar.

We've gone to Gabatoni's many times and usually were pleased with the fare. This time, however, it was a big disappointment. The service was as good as could be expected on a busy Saturday evening. We arrived about 6 PM and, although there were people waiting for a table for 4, we were offered a two-top in the bar area,... More

I moved to Springfield in March and this is the best pizza I have found yet. Crispy crust and gooey cheese delight the taste buds!

This is exactly the kind of pizza I love! It's thin crust and I was not a fan until we had this pizza. Gabatoni's is off the beaten track, but so worth it. They have a pizza named EBA - Everything But Anchovies. lol Delicious! Staff is friendly.

Yep - this place is OLD. Like 30+ years old. But it's a family restaurant that's been here forever. The menu is simple and easy to choose from. The servings are just the right size. The sauces seem to be homemade and are very tasty. I didn't have the pizza, but saw some - really thin crust that looked really... More
