A great lunch

I seem to be eating at Cracker Barrels a lot lately, probably because they're so good and everyone likes to eat there. We stopped for lunch on our drive home. Thursday's special is turkey, stuffing and cranberries. I also had the mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious including the cornbread... read more

We stop at this place because it is on the way home from up north. This is your typical Cracker Barrel with good highway access. Food is decent, and everything seems clean. One downside is it always seems to be very cool. The manager loves the AC on high.

The kids enjoyed their mac n cheese kids meals tonight! I had the meatloaf and it was delicious. We were even able to get some fried apples to go :)

First of all, I am no wimp but when it is 74 degrees outside and about 60 inside it is too cold in the facility----people were wearing hooded sweatshirts to eat dinner on a June night. I got our sweatshirts out of the trunk of the car. The A/C was TOO LOW. Worse yet, two unruly children screamed for 20... More

Cracker Barrel is a goto place for us when we travel and we've never been disappointed. It's always been consistent and with relatively good service. Not here! Service was terrible and slow. When we arrived we had had a bad experience at the restaurant across the street and we were starving (see my review on Hen House) and told the... More

Located not to far off 55. I had the haddock dinner. It's good not great. It's all about the biscuits which are finger licking good!

The meal was just OK at this location for this particular meal. As we were traveling through, and it did fill up with probably mostly locals, the so so meal may have been a quirk. The service was good.

Do we really need a review of the Cracker Barrel? It's great. It is clean and offers an extensive menu. The tables are too small for all the food they bring to you. The gift shop is always current. If they served liquor, they'd be perfect.
