Who doesn't like Cracker Barrel. Food is always hot and tasty and the gift shop always makes my wife happy. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner...you can't go wrong.

Our visit on a Saturday evening was very handy to the Baymont Inn in the same parking lot, but it was not a great meal. The chicken and dumplings were barely edible as was my meat loaf. The pinto beans were excellent as were the cornbread but little else was up to their usual standards. They were incredibly busy and... More

Ended up stopping here unexpectedly due to a storm northeast of here with our 3 kids 12, 4 and 1. The waitress cheered our kids up by adding chocolate chips and chocolate sauce to our daughters pancakes, and brought out a small bowl of chocolate chips before the meal. In the store, they helped us find toys that would keep... More

The Cracker Barrel is right across the street from our hotel, the Baymont Inn and Suites, which made it perfect. We ate there 2 nights and the first night was very busy but we were taken care of very well by our waitress Classity. Our second night was as good. It was slower but Classity still took good care of... More

Was a nice welcome break from thw road. My picky eatter had no problem gobbling up her dinner. As always the greens and hashbrown caserol were devine. Mushroom swiss left something to be desired

I ordered chicken and dumplings and my husband chicken fried steak and we waited while 2 tables that came after us were served first. My husband asked the server what was taking so long and her reply was that they ran out of dumplings and had to make more. She never once asked me if I would like to order... More

Passing through Springfield on a recent Saturday, we stopped at this CB for lunch. We've been here several times over the years, and the food has always been good. My wife had the chef salad, a reliable standby we've both had a number of times. She asked for two different dressings, no problem. And she ate all but a few... More

I ordered an egg sandwich with eggs over easy, (expecting fully cooked whites and runny yellows). I should have expected something when the waitress asked if I was sure and then rolled her eyes and walked away. 30 minutes later when the food got there (mind you waitress never refilled our drinks in the mean time) the whites of the... After walking out the hotel lobby door it took about four minutes to reach the front door of Cracker Barrel. While the food is always edible, it will never become a fine dining experience. However, when one is truly hungry, you will not walk away feeling this same way. Our waiter asked us how our food was and if there... More

Good American food, typical dishes, from breakfast to dinner, I had a chicken pot pie, special of that day! Nice waiters, gift store ... wish I could have put a real American rocking chair in my suitcase !
