I LOVE Augie's!! Best appetizers, fabulous salads, great atmosphere. In the summer can sit outside on the sidewalk directly in front of the old state capital. When it's too cold sit inside and it's a cozy eclectic atmosphere. I had the salmon salad, it was the best salmon salad I had EVER eaten, salmon was slightly crisp on the outside... More

Went for a birthday dinner. Our party of 9 was waited on promptly by a friendly and knowledgeable server. The food is excellent. The menu is a bit limited, but they strive to do as much locally-sourced food as possible, and while limited, it is varied. Listen to the specials, they are often a top pick. It's pricey--there's no question... More

Service was wonderful (recommendation to request Ana as your server) very attentive and on the mark, We will definitely be going back soon for the holidays.

If you are staying downtown or live in the area, Augie's is a great restaurant for a nice evening out. It's a little on the pricey side for Springfield but worth it. The bartender makes some great seasonal drinks/martinis and the menu changes periodically with local availability. Lobster Bisque is always on the menu and it's delicious. I've never been... More

I have only visited for lunch. The food is excellent, but the choices are limited. This is pricey! A nice twist on traditional American fare, but limited if you don't eat pork!

This is probably the best restaurant in Springfield. The peachy sangria prepared for their "Local flavors dinner" was delicious as is everything else on the menu. My favorites are the crab cakes and lobster bisque soup.

Support the locals! Its where the best food is at, honestly! Quality! This place is a fantastic restaurant with great food. My boyfriend and I visit this place whenever we get the free time and enjoy it thoroughly. Its very small inside but its atmosphere is different and worth to stay. I had the garlic mashed potatoes & filet mignon... More

A colleague and I visited Augie's for lunch while we were taking a break from a convention. Or lunch was outstanding! We had the hearts of palm parfait and the warm asparagus and butternut squash salad and they were both incredible. The service was warm and we throughly enjoyed our visit. I can't wait to return!
