This meal for three cost $138.00, including a 1/4 glass of red wine for $14.00, and I ate better at the Hy-Vee grocery store cafe yesterday. No hyperbole - almost one hour wait to receive rolls and a mixed greens salad, another 30 minutes to receive steaks bathed in salty brown sauce, overdone carrots and cold, fried, and obviously frozen... My husband and I like to go here 5-6 times a year and split the pear salad and the ahi tuna dinner. Just enough for two aging Americans. Everything I've had here has been excellent.

Had the special Sea Bass and Scallops tonight. It was one the best meals I have had in a very long time. Bread was amazing and wine they suggested was a perfect match to the food. Will go again. Was a little expensive but if the food is this good it is worth it!

My husband and I love to go out for a nice dinner and drinks about once each month. The place we had been going to started disappointing us so we tried Sebastian's Hideout. We had been before and I don't know why we stopped going. The staff was friendly and informative and the meal was GREAT. We had enjoyed our... More

Trip to visit the Lincoln museum and home, tried this restaurant for dinner at the recommendation of our B&B. Excellent meal, excellent choices on the menu, great wine selections. My wife had crab cakes which were excellent and I had the rack of lamb, done perfectly. Our server was excellent, allowing us time to comfortably enjoy our wine and our... More

I've been to Sebastian's before and have rated it on this site; fair as I recall. The food is still good and the service has vastly improved. Waitress actually seemed pleased we were there, was both pleasant and prompt. Prices are still out of line with a steak at $40+.

We dined at Sebastions for the first time last weekend and had a wonderful dinner. We ordered the crabcake and filet duo, which was delicious, and quite a large serving. Our server was extremely friendly and nice, but was too busy to give anyone stellar service. It seemed like one server was given the entire basement as her section, which... More

I have been to Sebastian's twice in the last 6 months. Both times were made very unpleasant by a female bartender. I wish I knew her name. I most recently was in on October 17th, so if management reads this maybe they can narrow it down. Anyway, if you go to order any drink other than wine from the bar,... More

We went there twice after moving to Springfield. The food was very good, and the steaks were excellent. The service... well to say they needed training would be an understatement, they had no clue. And it is dark and feels a bit dingy.

The food and service at Sebastian's Hideout were very good, but, the place is extremely dark and the decor is outdated and uninviting. Just a blah atmosphere. We both had the Beef Duo - filet and short ribs. They were quite tasty and properly prepared. The Lobster Bisque was excellent. Although it was a little pricey, we think the quality... More
