So few of the restaurants in the hotel area are open past 8 or 9PM. Thankfully, Smokey Bones stays open until 1AM. Even better than the late hours is the fact that the food and drinks are really quite good for a chain restaurant. Stopped by after a concert about 1230AM and was pleasantly surprised by the quality food, drinks,... More

If you think you are only so so for Pot Pie...you have got to try this one! Pasta Pot Pie loaded with meat and so good. One of us had the ribs and they were good too. Great waiter and fast service. You want to try it...well worth the stop. Sides we chose were cole slaw and grilled corn. Both... More

This was my second time eating at Smokey Bones. The first time there was a wait to be seated. I looked around and saw several tables that needed to be bused. We finally found a place at the bar and ate there. The second time there was a wait again and again I looked around and counted no less that... More

One of several restaurants around a bunch of chain hotels. Nice atmosphere and low noice level. Slow seating but quicker service. We had the rib eye and a burger. Together with 3 beers the bill was 50 USD. Resonable. The rib was better prepared that the burger but over all, a good choice among the other options.

We visited the President Lincoln Home Historic Site today and a lady in the gift shop recommended Smokey Bones for dinner. I'm glad she did because it was a Sunday so lots of NFL on the various screens and the food was excellent with generous servings. In fact we had enough for our dinner tomorrow! We are on a six... I do not necessary care but I ordered a plate of pulled pork and to make it appear as if I was being served a normal sized portion, this restaurant places a piece of bread underneath the pulled pork to make it appear to be a larger portion. For $10 not enough pulled pork. Fries are underwhelming. Good donuts though

My wife and I paid a visit to Smokey Bones over Labor Day weekend. It was close to our hotel, and when you drove by it smelled really good. It was recommended by someone at the hotel desk, so we thought we'd give it a try. We ended up waiting outside for a table and were seated in about 15... More

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She did a good job explaining the sauces and what was available. The broccoli and potato was delicious. Unfortunately, I felt the BBQ chicken was pretty dry (even with the sauces.) But, overall, I had a good experience and would go back.

I have often passed Smokey Bones and decided to try one while in Springfield. I was greeted upon entering this bright BBQ restaurant. The service area is divided into two parts. The left is a casual and the right is a bar scene with high and low table and bar seating. Several television enable diners to keep up with the... More

My wife and I always enjoy eating at Smokey Bones. The food is great and reasonable in price. Sometimes we just do carry-out to save time and eat the food at home.
