My wife and I always enjoy eating at Smokey Bones. The food is great and reasonable in price. Sometimes we just do carry-out to save time and eat the food at home.

I first need to mention my wife was served a glass of water with Lip Stick that was still oily and smear able. That was the start of the worst restaurant visit possible, at least in my lifetime so far. Then we ordered and they were out of any form of Turkey for a California Club sandwich. We then tried... Bones is a great casual place to have lunch or dinner but it is sooo much more than a BBQ place. Yes, they have great wings, ribs and all the usual BBQ but my favorite dish is the grilled wild salmon with citrus butter sauce. I would never have ordered salmon at a BBQ place but, a friend raved about... More

Ok, so Smokey Bones may not be the best rib place for BBQ on the planet, but it's decent. A family restaurant atmosphere, nothing too spectacular. The menu is varied and the prices are somewhat high for the portions you get. If there is a bright spot, it's that the wait staff is very attentive and courteous. They always greet... More

Liked the name, wanted BBQ, but when I saw it I said " franchise". Went inside, yep, franchise, 8 page menu with everything from AToZ! Ordered ribs, came swimming in syrup, brown sugar, honey etcetera, beans were the same . Ribs very small, but tender. Expensive for the portions. Will look up a mom pop bbq next time?

Food and service was excellent. Amber was my server in the bar area and very friendly and nice. I have never eaten at Smokey Bones before and she told me a little about where they are located and helped me make a menu selection. Planned on eating there a second time but never made it. Would definitely eat there again... More

We ordered carry out and they did a great job putting it all together. I had Alaskan salmon that was very good. My wife had smothered chicken that was excellent as well. It was a very busy place and when we return to Springfield we will stop in again.

We're on vacation and it was getting near dinner time. We couldn't make up out minds about ordering pizza for delivery or going out for pizza or going out for fish or you-name-it. We stumbled on this restaurant searching for local eateries, looked at their website, decided it had something that the two of would be happy with. My wife... More

I got a full slab of ribs and had no chance of eating it all! It was bigger than the plate it came on! They we're fall off the bone, no fork or knife needed!
