Fun place on the original Route 66. A "cozy dog" is a corn dog. I love corn dogs and these did not disappoint. Small gift area featuring Route 66 items. Staff very pleasant and accommodating.

Although the building itself isn’t anything special, inside is Route 66 nostalgic. The food is good—you MUST get a cozy dog, or two. We got the special that came with fries. There is memorabilia of Route 66 and the owners' own collection. If you’ve ever been to Hackberry, Arizona, located off Route 66, this is the perfect complement to that... More

Again, not good. Ordered a plain hot dog. No flavor, boiled, YUK! French fries were really good. Ordered a bowl of grease, um I mean chili. Nasty. Breading on the Cozy dog was like a sweet bread batter. DIL said the burger was good.

This is truly an attraction, more than a restaurant; we stopped in on a Saturday evening for a root beer float after our dinner and were tickled to stroll around the dining area, reading all the information about Route 66, the origin of the corn dog on a stick, and viewing lots of memorabilia from the 1950s. Outside, there’s a... More

My kids hate corn dogs and they loved these. Food was delicious, best fries I have ever had and the prices are so reasonable.

Having last been to Cozy Dog in 2005, I was hoping it would live up to my memories, and it did. Simple food, fair prices, hours of memorabilia to peruse on the walls. The corn dogs and fries were not a bit greasy, but crisp and perfectly cooked. Burgers and hot dogs in our order were also just right. 17... More

I always loved the end of summer growing up. Not because of school starting and seeing friends I haven't seen or going into a cold arena on a hot day in August for hockey try outs. This meant that the Ottawa Ex (a local fair) was comming to town. My love was for those mini donuts swimming in that river... More

Ok...let's agree that a Cozy Dog (or two) with onion rings is not the most healthy lunch. But, once in awhile you just need to not think and have fun! The corn dogs are tasty (and not at all greasy), ditto for the onion rings. Friendly, efficient service. The nostalgia, priceless! Take the time to read the walls...so much fun!... More

Ok so we are doing RT 66 and have the Lodging and Dining guide for RT 66 and have been told about this place. I had NEVER had a corn dog in my life before this place. Walk in, order up how many dogs you want and side(s) and drink. We were here late in the day so this was... More

This quaint historic place has the best corn dogs and fries! If you like yummy "state fair" type of food - this is the place for you! Put some vinegar on your fries (you don't have to) and they're just like the ones at the State fair. Fun décor, friendly people, fabulous food and fair prices - can't go wrong... More
