We have been traveling all week and waiting for a great meal. We just had not had one yet. But we had the amazing meatloaf specialty atLake Point Grill. Includes mashed potatoes and green beans. Will definitely stop again in route to St. Louis. Service great, atmosphere nice.

Food was very good. Went at lunch time on a Friday. Took forever to get food. Did not try the pizza. Neat place inside. Very clean place.

We stopped here for dinner on our way to St. Louis and picked it based on its TripAdvisor rating and proximity to I-55. We came during dinner time and it was pretty busy and we had to wait a loooong time for our food. I tried the pork quesadillas, which were okay, but a little soggy. Others in the group... More

Have eaten at LPG a number of times and it still continues to be one of Springfield, Illinois best restaurants. At lunch, I ordered a bowl of the Potato Cheese Bacon soup. It was outstanding in taste. The ingredients were well infused in the soup. It was thick and creamy and a bowl is more than ample. The garlic cheese... More

I love the calzone here, but is seems rather pricey because it doesn't include any meat items in the base price. The basic calzone is $9.29 and is just cheeses, pesto and marinara. By the time you add 3 items (meats and veggies @ 1.89 ea) you end up with a calzone that is just shy of $15.00. That seems... More

Service was good, they checked on us periodically. My picky 5 year old ate his pizza; I think $7 for a kids pizza is high. They are skimpy with the cheese on the Nancho's 1/2 the chips had nothing on them; would it hurt to add a little more cheese & toppings? They were skimpy on the pizza I had... More

I just placed your order for you. You're welcome! :) Whenever we are in Springfield we try to eat at the Lake Pointe Grill. We just love this place. Even though they are always busy we have never had to wait for a table. The menu is extensive. Everything we have had is amazing. This visit we had garlic cheesy... More

We've been here as groups of 9-14 customers. Impressed how well this restaurant handles groups. Service has been great for us. Loads of parking. We've ordered a variety and everyone seems to like what they've ordered. I recently enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken. Varied menu.

I went on my lunch hour at 11 when they open. Seemed like they weren't ready to open. Service was SLOW...and we were the ONLY people in there. Drinks came out and then we didn't get to order our food for another 5-10 minutes. My house salad was yummy but my husband said his chicken salad sandwich was a little... More
