A friend and I met here for breakfast! It was outstanding! The selection was vast and the food was amazing!!! Can't wait to try it for lunch, I have heard the chicken pot pie is to die for.

Thank you Kim H for noticing the options that we have and the fact that it is different than other places. We would welcome your return to try the pot pie and certainly hope it lives up to the expectations. We look forward to seeing you soon and appreciate the time it took to let us know how we are... We had lunch here on arriving in Springfield. Sandwiches were bland and nothing to write home about, as they say. What really concerned me is that we were seated where we could see the prep area clear to the kitchen. Food debris all over the floor.A mess and the place wasn't verybusy so no excuse for not cleaning up.

We can't thank you enough for noticing that we need to improve on making sure our floors and surfaces are keep orderly and professionally presented. We do get in a rush at times and seem to have smaller walk-in traffic depending upon the time of the day so we can and will do better making sure we are on point... More

Thank you for enjoying our lunch and returning for breakfast. We appreciate the time to let us know what you love....we do think our B&G (sausage sage gravy. bacon cheddar biscuit) are just as great as you mention. We look forward to your return More

This was our first visit to Cafe Moxo in Springfield. We have might have over hyped ourselves for the experience since it was ranked #1 for restaurants in Springfield according to Trip Advisor. I felt like it was a little overpriced with food similar to Panera. It's in a good area of downtown with a nice view and cafe dining... More

Thank you for posting a review and letting us know that our soup, atmosphere/view, and sandwich (triple slice blt) was very good.....but you felt the 1/2 sandwich was smaller than expected and a drink or cookie comes with the meal for $10.50. While portions might not have matched what you think you should receive for the price, we can't thank... More

We were traveling through Springfield and stopped here for coffee to take on the road. It's a quaint little place; neat and clean, bigger on the inside than it looks from the street. The workers were friendly and looked like they really enjoyed their jobs. The house blend coffee was good, and we appreciated the free refills. In fact, the... More

Shucks, we wish it was more around lunch when you stopped so you could get the pot pie...nonetheless, we are thrilled you got to experience our staff that really cares whether you get food or a cup of coffee. Bye the way, our coffee is roasted locally by Marquis and we are proud to have them in our restaurant. Yes,... More

Very delicious choices of soups and sandwiches. Location is great for downtown workers. The only problem is the acoustics. During the lunch rush, you will not be able to have a conversation as the walls are solid brick and it gets very loud and echo-y. They need some tapestries or something. Otherwise good.

Thank you for the great review and loving our food. We also agree, we get quite the "lunch rush" and it can be a touch on the bustling side. We are doing a reno in early 2016 and we are going to address some minor fixes that may help the historic downtown building. We really thank you for making our... More

Service is fast and food is good, but not exceptional. I got their chicken pot pie which was very good. Not many choices for kids.

We are very happy you had the chance to come in and try our food....happy to hear you thought the pot pie was very good. We seem to agree, the food has to be very good x2 to be exceptional...so we will try harder. As far as a kid's specific menu, we do not offer one. We offer all of... More

We've had the pleasure of celebrating here post St. Pat's parade. Good food, good service and good times. Interesting place to people watch as they are passing by in their St Pat's finery in front of the restaurant.

We stopped at this restauant because of all the great reviews. We were not disappointed! It is just west of the Old Capitol and north of the current Capitol. Being located just west of the the park area on Adams St. and south of the Old Capitol helps improve it's "attractiveness" since panhandlers sometimes hang out there. They have several... More
