I hadn't had orange roughy in years. They served it almond dipped with a veggie medley over their dirty rice, which was a tomato based rice, but tasty. The fish was well seasoned and tender, but flaky. Service was very good. These folks made seafood in the mid west believable. Good arms on the table restaurant, bar, and service.

Try to make a point to swing into this Shucks every time we're in town for some happy hour drinks and food. They have a few tasty micro-brews on tap, fresh oysters on the half-shell, and peel 'n eat shrimp that are seasoned perfectly with old bay. This is more of a market type of location than the others, but... More

We run a B & B and guests remarked how they enjoyed their meal at shucks so we decided to try it. We are glad we did and will return. Had the shrimp Po Boy sandwich, clam chowder and a great beer, it was great. We will be going back.

I am guessing that they shipped the talented management to their new location. Our first visit was for Happy Hour and it was great. The shrimp and oysters were excellent. The next stop, quality was down to average or below. It appeared as if someone dumped the box of salt all over everyone's food. My final stop was for lunch.... More

My wife spent nearly all of her life next to the ocean and great seafood. Trying to find good seafood in Omaha is like trying to find pigs that fly. That was until we found Shucks! Good quality sea food without the bad freezer burn taste. Great oysters and fish, not to mention the gumbo and jambalaya!

I took my husband here (119th Pacific location) for his Birthday. We had heard all good things but we were very disappointed. Won't be going back :(

What a treat to find such good seafood in the middle of The Midwest. Although it is a local chain, it is still a "dive" in all the best sense of the word. It is clean, excellent tasting, and a wonderful stop every time we come to Omaha. I got the sampler platter of oysters this time. My favorite is... More

What a great little hole in the wall. The seafood was super fresh and delicious! I had the cajun catfish fingers, grilled oysters, and jambalaya. All of it was amazing! The catfish was better than any I've ever had, the oysters were succulent perfection and the jambalaya had just the right amount of heat and a ton of shrimp! Just... More

Found shucks accidentally while in Omaha. Dinner for 2 with a dozen oysters and a drink a piece for $60 is hard to find, but Shucks can do it! Excellent Red beans and rice. Unique find in the Midwest. If you ask for blackened, you get it, and that was much appreciated. Will be back.

Shucks.. Great food.. Great service.. Great place.. why go somewhere else? No matter what time of day, the food is always fresh, and the service is excellent; all servers are very friendly and helpful! What I love about Shucks, is that they recognize me, call me by my first name, and know what I'm going to order!! :)
