The service personnel think they are rock stars never in my travels in Europe including some rude waiters in Paris, Middle East, South America and North America have I been so outraged by bad service and arrogance of these people. Omahans are very friendly people and every other restaurant was very friendly except La Buvette. more

When one requests three separate checks for a glass of wine each, it appears one might revel in being a royal pain. Did your parents not teach you any manners or proper decorum? My wife and I were also there on 7/17 and she also had a rude experience with a waiter, but luckily our table had a waitress who was nice enough but a bit aloof (perhaps taking the French theme too far?). Otherwise, the food was good and the atmosphere was great. more

I was literally verbally abused by my waiter, who informed my party that he could treat the patrons in anyway he wanted since the management/owners didn't care. Having one glass of wine at this location was THE worst restaurant/bar experience I have ever had. Avoid at all costs. I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau. more

I adore getting a bottle of wine and sitting at one of their patio tables people-watching. They allow smoking on the patio (wonderful for smokers who no longer can smoke inside any restaurant in Omaha; possibly annoying for non-smokers, but, hey, you guys won the entirety of the indoors of every restaurant in Omaha, so be happy and sit there... more

When I lived in Omaha, my friends and I spent many evenings eating cheese and drinking wine at La Buvette; I make a point of visiting it every time I return to Omaha. The wine selection is amazing! It has a wonderful ambience and is suprisingly reasonable! I highly recommend it! more

Sort of like being in a rough & tumble place in Old Montreal. Food is so so at best but they try. if you use your imagination one can transport oneself. Small but filling portions & a very limited menu. Quite reasonable however! more
