Our family ate at this casual restaurant on a busy Friday night. Clearly, this is a very popular restaurant and for good reason! Food was delicious - the best chicken enchilada EVER! Loved their Mexican Rice and everything was great! Service was wonderful also. Location easy to get to, lots of parking available. I would Definitely go here again if... More

It was so bad! We all sat down...I had never been before...our waitress asked if we wanted queso and chips and we all said yes! She brought it out and about 8-10 minutes later she comes out and says you didn't order this and I took it to the wrong table and snatched it off the table and disappeared! The... More

What can I say about Fernando's? It is easily one of my favorite places to eat when visiting my hometown. If there were a way to order and have it same day delivered to Kentucky, I would, lol. The portions are plentiful, the staff is always nice, the drinks from the bar are always great. As simple as it sounds,... More

This is the first Mexican restaurant EVER that we have paid for chips and salsa! We won't come back! obviously we are spoiled by all of the others - so we will frequent them instead!

We go to Fernando's fairly often, as it's a restaurant the whole family can agree on and enjoys. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff is attentive and polite. My kids' favorite thing about it is the tootsie pop you get after the meal. I definitely recommend Fernando's!

I hadn't been here for a decade or so. Now I remember why. A client set a lunch meeting here. I will not be back. The setting is 70s, so 70s that it almost seems like a parody of the decade. Service is good and attentive--our server was friendly, timely, and had an almost uncanny sense of when we were... More

This restaurant is a bit faded esthetically, but the friendly service, good portions and variety of options is better than average. Great margaritas and selection of beers. Enchiladas are good and hearty as are the chimichangas. My favorite meal, however, are the nachos. I order the "Fernachos El Kitchen Sinko" since they are covered with so much good stuff, including... More

Took one of my friends out for a birthday dinner and overall I was disappointed. My friend had been to the restaurant before and I had not. Can't say I will ever go back. The service was fine and the people seemed nice, but the food was not good. Our portions were huge, but the chicken in my meal tasted... More

Fernando's is more non traditional Mexican fare or Tex-Mex at least. The flour chips and fresh salsa is simply delicious. As mentioned on other reviews, it is not free. There is normally three of us, we take the extra home and the helpful staff always provides extra chips. You can buy the salsa for about $5 at the local HyVee... More

The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed and the food is decent but it was nothing I haven't had before. The cheese dip is strange in that it doesn't come apart when you dip into it. So that's odd right off the bat if you order it as an appetizer. But everything is tasty and the service has been good the... More
