My wife and I had the bangers and mashed potatoes and it was delicious. Service was outstanding, the decor and ambiance was terrific. Looked like a generous selection of beers, but did not try any. Lot of items on the menu, we will go back to try other things.

My husband & I ate at Brazen Head last week. He had the corned beef & cabbage which was barely OK. The disappointment came from bland sliced corned beef -- none of it looked like (or tasted like) slices of freshly made corned beef. I had a potato pancake stuffed with crab, asparagus, & Havarti cheese; which was very tasty.... More

Went there for a business lunch, we were a group of six. They did a nice job helping one of the guys with gluten-free choices. I had the uncle milty with the cottage fries, it was good, but the sandwitch was a little on the small side and there was nothing special about the fries. I don't remember if there... More

The Brazen Head offers a good, hearty menu with solid (occasional) live Celtic bands and an attentive staff that does very well servicing their comfortable, atmospheric party room for special events. The drawbacks of the place are the boisterous, noisy diners you often find there (which, granted, might be expected, but didn't seem to jibe with the sit-down dining experience... More

I've been to Ireland and Scotland, and the Brazen Head would fit in either place. Warm interior. HUGE choice of beers on tap as well as bottled beer and wines. Great pint of Guinness. The food is delicious. The fries are tasty and crisp. The Rachel Reuben is tremendous, as are the boxtys. Best Irish Pub in the city.

I had the Prime Ministers Sandwich which is like a french dip made with prime rib. The prime rib was very moist and not cut into little pieces. It was a piece of prime rib without the fat on a toasted bun with au jus. Very yummy. My husband had the fish & chips. He thought the fish was outstanding.... More

Brazen Head is a weekly visit for me and my fiance. Great service, great good, and a beautiful interior! They have one of the coolest wood bars in Omaha! They easily have the best Irish-themed food, too. The various boxty dishes are great; the shepherd's pie is fantastic; and the fish 'n chips are excellent! When being seated, ask if... More

In town from Kansas, knowing next to nothing about the area. Picked the restaurant based on the fact it was Irish and had decent reviews. Exceeded expectations, with a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food, only downside was no Woodchucks on tap (they were out at the time so can't hold it to 'em). Agree with the other reviewer that the... More

Had lunch here on my way out of Omaha to Ohio. Had a veggie boxty was ok but the onion soup was awesome. My friend had beer cheese potato soup that was pretty darn good to. I liked it so much I took a bowl to go. I figured id warm it up later well around Chicago I ate it... More

Originally from Omaha, we frequent the Brazen Head each time we return. Although the service is spotty depending on the server, the food is good and the bartenders definitely know how to pour a Guinness.
