Jams is consistently top rate. Don't be put off by strip mall location. Something for everyone and if you don't want to spend a lot of money there are options here, too. Seasonal menu always pleases. more
As someone who travels the country for business and checks TA for restaurant recommendations, I wanted to review some of the best restaurants in Omaha (my hometown) as I feel the overall best restaurants rankings thus far are not accurate. more
I have liked everything that I have gotten here-really good eclectic flavor combinations. I love all the entree salads. My husband & I eat at Jams at least twice a month. We live in Omaha and drive halfway across town to go to this gem! Our meals were very good, great portions, nice attention to details. I had a vegetable sandwich that was huge and very tasty. My partner had a steak which he really enjoyed. It was a very solid meal, and by Omaha standards, we found it to be one of the best meals we've had so far. more
a very eclectic menu. Decent portions and a tad pricy, but have never had a bad meal here. Unless you go early or very late, plan on a long wait for a table, as Jam's is a small restaurant. But the mirror behind the bar makes it look a lot bigger. more
went to lunch with a group ordered a salad. After a few bites i noticed a small green bug crawling on the lettuce. When the server came over she asked if I would like my salad boxed. I told her no and explained the bug problem. They did not offer me another salad or meal just comped me the cost... more
I am sorry that your readers have to read these kind of reviews.I stated i was very sorry for the bug but the guest stated she had lost her appetite and didn't care for anything else. She later called to state she left the restaurant hungry. I'm a bit confused but still sorry.
One look at the wine list...several bottles over $150, most over $80. $30 entrees. Not exactly what I was looking for. more

Well let me tell you ladies and gent we enjoyed ourselves to our hearts content.
